Re: Official Classic-Castle Poll Thread
Screenname:
Dragon Master (No, I do not proclaim myslef the Master of all dragons, Anthony Sava has that title, I just love DMs!)
"Master" in chat
Age:
16
State:
Massachusetts
Profession:
Student
My BrickShelf Account:
http://brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?m=Sea-Serpent
Themes I Build In:
Castle mostly, somtimes in town.
First Castle Set:
http://guide.lugnet.com/set/6034 Black Monarch's Ghost! I still have most of these nice pieces. This is a great set. A little castle adventure all in itself.
Favorite Castle Set:
Same as my first set, 6034!
Favorite MOC of someone else's:
I have 3!
Kevin Blocksidge's Earthflower Castle http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=31286
Johannes Koehler's Flackenstein Castle http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=14853
and Jason Spear's Bookshop
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=62757
Your favorite non-Castle theme:
Harry Potter provides a plethora of useful castle parts. I also like Pirate for more or less the same reason, and I also like town as a separate entity.
If you were to be in the medieval ages, what would you profession be:
I would be a knight, or the village idiot. Maybe both at once.
Do you own a copy of the legendary 3033?
No, I do not.
Bye,
Dragon Master

Themes I Build In: Castle, Space, and Castle
First Castle Set: OK - I have to revise this now that I think about it - my first set was 6009
Favorite Castle Set: I like the Guarded inn. It is simple and affordable, yet it puts all what traditional Lego Castle meant. I also like 6086 but I don't own it.

Favorite MOC of someone else's: I really admire Architect’s City Gate. I also like some of the castles Jojo has done
Your favorite non-Castle theme: Western, but I don’t really build in it.
If you were to be in the medieval ages, what would you profession be: I would operate a merchant ship. Because that's what my line of work is now
Do you own a copy of the legendary 3033? One

Themes I Build In:
Castle and Town
First Castle Set:
That would be 677 Knight's Procession
Favorite Castle Set:
I'm not really a set collector, so there isn't a real favorite one.
I like 6024, because my sigfig is in it. I also like Black falcons fortress and the moc blacksmith shop (3739). Forestmen sets are my favorite, but I only buy sets for parts.
Favorite MOC (at this time) of my own:
I guess my entry for the colossal castle contest, Brickerlo Castle. But my next moc is going to be my favorite (as usual)
Favorite MOC of someone else's:
Anything from Jojo and Takeshi Itou. Bob Carney has nice stuff too
Your favorite non-Castle theme:
Town. Sometimes I want to build modern things. It's nice to build daily life things in Lego.
If you were to be in the medieval ages, what would your profession be:
I would want to be a musician, but I'm afraid I would be a witch. Or a nun if I wasn't courageous enough to express my real me.
Do you own a copy of the legendary 3033?
yes, 2 of them.

Favorite Castle set: It's up in the air between BFF and Black Monarch's Castle. I only have the BFF.
My fav MOC of my own (at this time): something not online, I'll pass for now.
Favorite MOCs of someone else's:
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?m=hachi you see it in their, and that's it. Those are my all time favs, nine others are tied for second place.
Fav non-Castle theme: between Space and Pirates.
Middle age Profession: I'd be the guide to China for the King's army so they could steal gunpowder and make me a lord!!!!! Seriously, a falconer or eagler (bird tamer.)
Do you own a copy of 3033: I wish.
Lollius has been placed by the side of the road so that all who pass may say 'hello Lollius' - Inscription on roman tomb

Basically everything except trains. I don't do trains. And modern/historical modern war.
First Castle Set:
1723 maybe. I don't really know what my first castle set, but I do know that's one of the first ones I got...
Favorite Castle Set:
I really don't know...so many of the older castle sets are just awesome.
Favorite MOC (at this time) of my own:
Probably my Futuristic Military Machine Shop Building that I'm working on right now.
Favorite MOC of someone else's:
I don't know, I've always liked Keith Goldman's work as well as Dan Jassim's. And lots of others that I don't know offhand...that is an extremely hard question.
Your favorite non-Castle theme:
Probably Star Wars before they started to go downhill lately...
If you were to be in the medieval ages, what would you profession be:
I really don't know...invent me a time machine and I'll find out for you.
Do you own a copy of the legendary 3033?
Oh yes, one copy of it.

"My Castle is not yet complete. Will it ever really be...?"
Well ain't that the truth!
Mine would have to be:
http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/DLM/C ... stle02.jpg
Even though I built in 4 years ago!
Favorite MOC of someone else's:
I can't find who did it. Heck!-I can't find it on BS either. Its that big grey BF castle with black rooves. There is a crowd of troops carrying banners in the front of it; and the castle opens up to reveal piles of rooms! Whenever I see a lego picture I like, I just save it in some folder. Now I have over 500 pictures of all sorts of cool MOCs.
Your favorite non-Castle theme:
Star Wars! Where else would I get all my cool castle parts?!
If you were to be in the medieval ages, what would you profession be:
Knight! (hey, a knight is the closest thing to badminton!)
Do you own a copy of the legendary 3033?
Perhaps if I knew what this legendary set was I might have one. But wait! I just checked on Lugnet and it appears to be a tub?!?! Whats so legendary about that?[/quote]

No website right now.
I build in Castle, Pirates (I love Steve Jackson's Game), Space, and Adventures. Castle is my favorite though.
My first castle set was the Forsest Men's Hideout.
My favorite MOC of my own is a 3 foot tall version of Hogwart's that I made in the span of a week and a half over the summer.
My favorite MOC of someone else's is Ed Boxer's Lego Castle.
My favorite non-castle theme is pirates.
If I lived in the middle ages I would've been the captian of a mercenary company...or dead.
Yeah, I own 3033, but it wasn't that special...

Do you own a copy of the legendary 3033?
Considering the fact that I had look this set up, the answer should be obvious...
