Well, I got none back when they were available in sets. They took me almost a year and a half to collect, and the 13 of them came from 12 different Bricklink stores.

So do I. I'm especially hoping for a dark green / sand green accented faction (elves? Forestmen? whatever...). They'd be nice, combined with some copper-coloured accessories.

How about this one:

Thank you for that great close up!

Kind of wondering why LEGO would make another "King" minifigure. Now I'll have to study this pic until I figure out how to incorporate this into my existing Crown knights. I already have a King, Crown Duke, Dukes, Lords and Knights clearly defined. It's hard to have someone linked to the Crown with better looking armor than the King and Crown Duke of the whole Crown faction.

Maybe it's not another King fig, but just a change of clothes?

Hello!

I like the Golden Knight. Though I’m pretty sure, they got some inspiration from this: http://www.majhost.com/gallery/Jojo/stuff/pm4430.jpg

I think that the gold knight is meant to be one of the Royal Guards. IMO the king should travel with an escort of 6 of these guys.

I like this idea...highly trained body guards, only the best of the best are handpicked by the king himself. An elite warband of knights who can kick some royal butt.

In my Legoverse, King Athanasios travels with six 'royal knights' as a protection party. They are certainly not shiny and 'all show' the are dark and 'all go.' I am not a big fan of the gold King, that's why HBF will get mine.

If you notice, the head on the King in the Castle Siege is not the same as the one in the new Battle Chariot.
Hmm... :?

The builder could have mixed up the king's head with the solider's head.

I didn't really expect the crownies to still be going at this point in the fantasy line. I have too many and I will keep getting more as I buy multiples of this years line.

I really like to keep my factions of similar size and I always like the bad guy's minions to be of greater size than my good guy armies. Selling my minifigs is not an option as I keep complete sets just in case I want to sell them in the future.

I am hoping for a new human faction as well. I love the dwarves, skeles, trolls, etc. But I think we really need some sort of new human faction as it is obvious they are gonna put some in each new set that comes out.

I really would have preferred to get dwarves in the troll mountain fortress. It seems they stopped making dwarves prematurely and the crownies are just lingering on and on...

If people do not have a decent amount of crownies at this point they have not been buying castle sets for the last 3 years.

Burkey,

Thanks again. You really do not have to but I will gladly take them off your hands! :D

My own armour is always pretty dark and well used but that is because I do not have the time to keep it very polished really. In some ways I guess it could be a social status as a knight. I cannot afford a full time armour cleaner so it is the way it is.

Dale,

I had thought that as well. The Dwarves really had a very limited release. Only one set came with more than one dwarf. I had hoped more would be out 2009 but looks like we have to wait till 2010 or 2011.

It's just an unwritten law of fantasy that there need to be humans involved, and the crownies must be selling well enough for Lego to keep them around.

But you have to remember that the sets are ment for children and i can't imagine a eight year child having all the Castle sets.
