I've got about 25-30 right now making it my largest faction! Planning to use them all in a "big" battle against my barbarian faction of 24.
I have a question to any army builders out there: Do you use all those figs eventually or do you just display them to intimidate others?

I do both. When I'm in a Castle phase (as opposed to Star Wars or Adventurers) I use the,. When I'm not, I just display them.Hob Took wrote: I have a question to any army builders out there: Do you use all those figs eventually or do you just display them to intimidate others?

I have around 100 but that should include leader types. I think this should be sufficient but who knows what sales on bricklink may temp me to buy more. They are a nice faction to have.

I went to the new Lego store in Texas yesterday (mmm...so cool...) and bought my first Lego sets in years (Skeleton's Prison Carriage and Final Joust), so now I have: three. And one's trapped in a cage... But still! It's a start!

Nothing like coming out of a dark age and all the sets look so excellent. Even the majority of those not coming out of a dark age the '07-'08 Castle Lego is excellent. I try to remember what it was like so that I can try to look at my LEGO in the same way and cherish them even more.Reiniger wrote:I went to the new Lego store in Texas yesterday (mmm...so cool...) and bought my first Lego sets in years (Skeleton's Prison Carriage and Final Joust), so now I have: three. A rough count gives me around 60. Which is more than I thought I had. I'm not buying the newest stuff so my crown knights just keep accumulating.

I have 10 or 12 crownines, about the same with skellies (plus I've created the recently undead (zombie) by putting a skellie head on a regular minifig body so add seven more) I've also got the princess, the evil wizard, three goblins and a pair of mounted knights.
Unlike many people, I've got no shame or sense of order about factions, so I mix in five forestmen, two classic castle figs, a member of the Wolfpack, a ninja, a couple of the Bulls, two pirates, and some others.
All of the above are part of the miniature epic film "Mordock Rises: A Tale of Glomshire" film I'm making.
Not that you wanted to know about that, but there it is.
