If they're useless, how can they be missed? Which dragon master torso is it that you want? Certainly it isnt the dancing dragon torso... *shudders*Formendacil wrote:Put up the guardian's pictures, so the Anthony can add the torso to his collection of stickers. It's the only KK2 missing. (Although he is missing a couple of useless KK1s, and, annoyingly, a Dragon Master or two.)
I only made torsos that I thought people would use, not necessarily to be 100% complete. If there's something you want, I can look into possibly making it, just let me know.

Give a man a fire and he'll be warm for a day.
Set a man on fire and he'll be warm for the rest of his life.

Ahhh, here, I think I have the answer to whether you should call about the armor: (to anyone with the set) do the instructions show the green armor for assembly of the figs? If so, definitely call, if not it's an iffier thing.[/quote]
Yup, there are two reasons that point to the missing armor being intentional on LEGO's part:
1)The instructions show the red knight with armor and the green knight without.
2)All the knights with armor have plain torsos. The green knight in the Citadel set has his armor pattern printed on his torso.
And sorry about the lack of pics - I don't have a digital camera or a scanner.

I got one of these sets today at LLCA.
The *only* place on the box that it shows Rascus with the aromor is the generic pictures of what figs you get in the upper right corner, and inside the top flap of the set in the generic map of the area. ALL of the pictures of the set on the box show him without the armor. And the instructions - no armor shown. So I hope this deters all the 'call Lego and get one free' comments. It is not supposed to be in the set.
Here is a scan of the torso (I will get my pics later but for now here is a scan I made for bricklink)
http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemPic ... 73pb352c01
And here is the torso for the guardian:
http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemPic ... 73pb353c01
and the guardian's head:
http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemPic ... 3626bpb223
I will post when I get my hi-res pics up of the full figs on Brickshelf.

Look at that Rascus! What a joker. He painted the design that is on his armour on his tunic. That is soooo funny. Surely the shadow knights will not even bother to fire arrows at him as they will think he has his armour on! Hee, hee, hee
Good knight!!! What is up with this? A less than .10 piece to produce is not being include for what reason? To improve "playability"? What, real knights don't wear armour? It was the day the squire was polishing his armour?
The guardians torso is neat, but no way to get large quantities at a reasonable price. The exclusion of the armour leaves a bitter taste in my mouth.

It could be Rascus wanted to "sneak" into the citadel without being heard too much. If he is wearing the armor,
then his maneuverability is reduced and he makes more sound.
The guardian's torso is nice, but the head...

1. This is the information asked for. Thanks.mfuss903 wrote:And the instructions - no armor shown. So I hope this deters all the 'call Lego and get one free' comments. It is not supposed to be in the set.
2. There were no "call Lego and get one free" comments. Just "call Lego and get the part they (may) have left out." You make it sound like I was encouraging some scam.

Well, its not so much that I need them, as that it seemed a shame to make all but three or four. Seriously though, I know that the DM knight's torso would be used, at least in this household, and Cedric the Bull's torso is quite useful, as a template if no more. I like the cape design at his neck.SavaTheAggie wrote:If they're useless, how can they be missed? Which dragon master torso is it that you want? As for King Leo. No, I'll never use him, and neither will anyone else. But he has a pretty decent design, and as a template for other designs, I think that he is quite useful.
Just my thoughts.
The Castle of Morcia does come with a green knight @ his matching euro-armor.

Ok - got my pics up of the 2 new figs in this set:
Here is Rascus with his printed torso:
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=798502
I just took a pic of him like that without his helmet or shield and sword because its the same as before, nothing new there.
And here is a pic of the guardian:
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=798503
and the guardian minus all his extra stuff:
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=798504
So far this is the ONLY set that I know of that comes with a knight with a printed torso and / or without armor.
oh - TwoTonic Knight, sorry, lol - did not mean to make it sound like you were trying to get a scam going. It was not directed at anybody, just a blanket statment to try to discourage the types of posts I have seen made by a few people.

i think its a bum deal to see the green guy without his armor, joke or no joke.
When I plan on buying the set, which probably won't be until after Christmas (so I can get it on sale), I plan on seeing if Lego can send me a green piece of armor.
That's just my opinion.
Also, I thought that the Guardian in the Citadel was evil.
In the comics, it looks like he's either good or neutral.

to me it looks like someone at LEGO is an avid fan of Anthony Sava's Chronicles of Ikros. The Guardian definitely, in my opinion, belongs in the magical tower from the story...

I think the guardian fig is pretty cool. Better without the beard and yellow spear.
Rascus may be lacking armor so he can fit through some of the traps and whatnot inside the citadel. perhaps the armor was too bulky for some of the stuff? Besides, any D&D player knows that you gotta take off the heavy armor when climbing, swimming, or being stealthy.
