Those stupid cards.
So. Am I the only one who secretly actually thinks the new cards are kinda neat, but outwardly has to admit that they're childish and useless?
Anyway, I'm ashamedly interested in owning a "complete set", however it seems that there's a vast array of missing cards. I've got numbers as low as 1 and as high as 78, with no repeats, so I'm assuming there's 80 or so cards, of which you'd only get 32 if you buy all 10 sets. Where are the rest? It mentions a 'board game' with additional cards... Anyone seen this around anywhere? Do the sets always come with the same cards?

Based on the 'back story' that appears on TLCs site, my guess is that more sets are coming - at least one for each Rainbow Knight. Other cards will likely turn up in them. Haven't heard of a board game yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if TLC is trying to multi-layer the playability options to be attractive to more than just builders. I don't know that it worked with Adventurers, but a lot of work has gone into creating a world for these knights.davee123 wrote:So. I have:
King - 46
Shadow Knights - 59
Castle of Morcia - 64
If this was the BST forum, I'd mention that I would be willing to sell or trade them.

Re: Those stupid cards.
I have the board game entitled Knights' Kingdom (no one bit on my comment that I had all five knights with the full equipment without getting the castle or buying them individually - this is how I did it).footsteps wrote: Haven't heard of a board game yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if TLC is trying to multi-layer the playability options to be attractive to more than just builders.
Anyway, it is $20 and available at Downtown Disney Lego store (and presumably all Lego stores). It comes with the five Jellybean knights (no other figs), and I figured at the prices for the individual figs, this was probably better than buying them as individual figs. I haven't looked at the game yet beyond taking out the figs, but it does have a lot of the same cards in it.

Re: Those stupid cards.
Are they complete (all have armor and shields)? You might have to start running to your LEGO store to pick some of these up for those who don't want to buy the Castle to get all of the figs with their armor (like the green knight).TwoTonic Knight wrote:Anyway, it is $20 and available at Downtown Disney Lego store (and presumably all Lego stores). Heck, if they are complete, you could get four of each of the knights for the price of the castle, assuming you don't want all the parts the castle comes with.
Anyone see this online for sale?

Yes. All armor, shields, swords, helmets, and visors (blank green torso). And yes, I have thought about selling the figs off individually (and the game sans figs). Dunno if it worth the trouble. Maybe $10 profit?

Are the figures used as game pieces? If so, I think it would be difficult to sell the game without the figs.TwoTonic Knight wrote:I have thought about selling the figs off individually (and the game sans figs). Dunno if it worth the trouble. Maybe $10 profit?

Yes they are, but there's nothing stopping substituting anything else for game pieces - besides, selling the game for even a few bucks is gravy.rogue27 wrote:Are the figures used as game pieces?
