If you get confused by all the acronyms being used on this site and others, a great place to look is The LEGO Acronym FAQ that was made by Shiri Dori on Lugnet. Here is the link:

Hope this helps. :D

I generally just call them both BURPs.
Same here. They are both big, ugly, rock piles. Or large, ugly, rock piles. Take your pic. Who cares which one you mean precisely anyway.

The P actually stands for peice. I think the 'L' in LURP stands for something else too, but I'm not sure...
Anyway, :
BURP= rectangular
LURP= triangular

Take this knowledge and better the world! :)

Im confused: do you mean the castle walls that you put the jail windows in?
If so, they ARE POOPs. They aren't that bad, but they are huge.

Darn! That is what I was talking about, although the ability to put in windows makes me feel a little bit better...

Geez how can you guys NOT know? L stands for little.

Or are you just messing with me? :P

Anyway, you don't need to know what it stands for. The rectangular ones just look like "burp" and the others are way more "lurpy"

I guess :roll:

Well, nevermind, L stands for little :D
Whatever you do, don't.

Well, if L stands for Little, then it becomes much easier to remember. It would seem that BURPs are the better of the two parts, but I have way more LURPs than BURPs.

Yep I think everyone has that problem... that also explains why BURPs are twice as expensive as LURPs @ BL.
Whatever you do, don't.
