Maybe we will get a prince before the line ends? I might just have to get two of these, if I can.
If you really want/need a king, I could sell you one of my spares for $1.50 or something, should cover the shipping. If a cape is not absolutely necessary, PM me. (Apologies if this is against the rules or something)

As for this set, oh sweet merciful bricks i wish i knew a guy in california... with the knight being made of pearl gold i have to wonder how durable he is though
In the future you should send a pm about selling figures or start a new thread in the Buy/Sell/Trades forum. This sub-forum should only be about discussion of LEGO Castle Sets. Thank you.

I found this set at Toys r Us in Ohio this weekend. Easy build, and very easily replaces the small drawbridge that came with King's Castle Seige. Makes the castle look a lot better.

Of course!
Does anyone have any pictures of this drawbridge attached to the front of the King's Castle? That has to look awesome :D

Not the best picture, but you get the idea. I have the tower from the tower raid modified and added to the left hand side of the castle also.

Very neat Satas. Looks like the drawbridge defence fits in nicely. I think if I get multiples I may try something like that but I rather like the idea of an independent tower with drawbridge. A place for another knight to live or something.

The drawbridge looks like it fits in very well. I really didn't like the original gate for KCS anyway.

Even though every set is a must have, I will be needing this for the great figures it contains.

I picked up two sets for building and my Castle MISB collection (they so pretty :)) and I'll likely try to get a few more once TRU does the BOGO sales again. So I got it on Thursday and built it Friday and it is every bit as good as the gate house section of King's Castle Siege I feel. Probably better actually with fewer large pieces shortcutting the build except the burps. My set had only one problem; the factory packed me two Queen heads and no Jester head in the set I've opened. While that's not really bad as LEGO will replace the missing head* and I wind up with an extra two-sided mad-chick, I was REALLY looking forward to the happy/sad Jester and have to wonder how many other sets got mis-bagged heads. So I feel obligated to check the contents of my MISB set... which means I'll have to buy another... which I had already planned to do.

Very cool review... I've liked the look of this set since I first saw the pictures on flickr, and have been planing on getting it when it came out. Though I thought it was coming out in August, so I was very surprised to discover it on the shelf at my first Lego store visit ever (vacationing in Colorado last week). I had to buy it...

I for one am glad it has the skeletons as the evil faction in this set. I'm just getting back into legos (mostly castle so far), and I managed to miss all the sets that had the skeleton horses in them, so this was a great addition from my perspective.

FYI @ Count Blacktron - I got the correct heads in my set (one queen, one jester).

The copy I bought contained the correct heads.

It's a nice set and I think it's worth the $40. Pretty much all the parts will be useful for any castle builder - lots of bley slopes, arches, and bricks, large dark green and reddish brown plates, and a modest pile of dark bley cheese. I also like the dark blue plates, and the three exclusive figs are a real bonus. And only four POOPs in the whole set! (two BURPs and two turrets) I would have preferred trolls as well but I'm guessing skeltons allowed the higher fig count, and with the coming troll battle-pack we'll all have an easy way to get more trolls anyways.

While my Jester awaits his sex change, he's a grumpy "queen" in red & blue. All he does is go around knocking skeletons down and tripping knights. He's just a little miffed too with that chin mole. :roflol:
