Fiery Legend
I was looking at Creator sets and I saw this awesome set :
http://shop.lego.com/ByTheme/Product.as ... n=348&d=70
It could also be built into a mystical dragon or an ogre warrior.

Re: Fiery Legend
I saw this set in the catalog and at a LEGO store and thought about getting it. I got the green dragon creator set (Mythical Beasts, I think was the name) and loved it.
Thanks,
Thanks,

Man! These Creator sets are pretty darn good. I may consider getting this. Thanks for pointing this out.

Re: Fiery Legend
I think the latest lineup of Creator sets is especially nice. Brick-built animals like this are always welcome, since we know we'll never get a brick-built dragon in a Castle set. Mythical Creatures was a great set, I'm sure I'll like this one too. I will definitely be picking it up at some point, as well us the Family Home, which comes with a boatload of tan bricks.

Re: Fiery Legend
Very nice, perhaps even better than Mythical Creatures. I'll need to get if first for any comparison though they will go great together! I'll probably picking this up in two weeks along with Drawbridge Defense when I'm down south in the Dakotas

Re: Fiery Legend
Some of you mentioned the Mythical Creatures set. That was another awesome Creator set, but I like the way this red dragon, in Fiery Legend, looks more than the green one, in Mythical Creatures. And there are two different types of dragons you can build in this set, which makes it even better.

Re: Fiery Legend
I'm a huge fan of sets that contain a lot of red parts, so this one looks really good to me. On the other hand, it really looks a lot like the Mystical creatures set so I may just pass on this one. I know it's different colours but they just look so alike that I believe I could build the Mythical dragon in red, out my spare parts.

Trust me, I think I'm funnier than you do.
Why do I have to add the word "minifig" to my spell checker every time I use it?!

Re: Fiery Legend
It reminds me of those old Viking dragons you could get, my favourate was the wyvrin dragon symaltaniously it was my favourate set as well.

Re: Fiery Legend
If it wasn't red, I'd be all over this set. As it is, I've got more red than I can ever use (I wonder why Lego seems so fond of red in everything).

Re: Fiery Legend
^There is some dark red and tan in there as well.
But I do wish LEGO put more diversity of color into their Creator sets. Pretty much everything is red, blue, yellow, or white, with the occasional green if you're lucky. I'd love to see a lot more of the dark variants of red/blue/green/tan, orange, medium blue, brown, tan etc.

Well, I only ever get to leave my igloo and ride my polar bear down south in the season of road-repair, known to some as "summer"puddleglum wrote:Now there's something you don't hear every day!Blaze Ryder wrote:down south in the Dakotas
On a different note, upon see the cover creature built at a friends house today, I must say I'm not a fan of the legs. Hopefully it'll have enough pieces to replicate the legs from:
Overall though, I was very impressed with the design and I'm looking forward to seeing what I can do to create a saddle on this one.
