Jojo, you're on to something. This guy looks great as a Spacer.

Pity he looks mediocre as a Castle dude.

Oh well, there's no longer any reason to have qualms about savagely dismantling sets. :D

Indeed, kk2 is probably tlc's way of getting around their star wars space contract

I agree that KK2 hardly does justice to its ancestors, but I like the idea behind it. Though I'd rather have seen colored visors and not these strange custom ones (although I do like Jayko's and Vladrek's). The sets leave much to be desired and there's just not enough to make any significant battle. 4 ultra powerful knights against Vladrek and his armor of 3 Scorpion soldiers. I'd really like to see Lego return to the old like the rest of you =(

Ok, look out because I'm really upset now. I mean, it's bad enough to have an 85% useless castle theme but when those spacers get an awesome space theme and get to use the (so-called) castle theme for pieces to, it just burns me up. :D

Considering that Jojo started this thread, I imagine that he would vote that KK2 is not Castle.

Personally, I tend to consider it Castle.

But it is not historical Castle, and it is not necessarily the same theme/line as Crusaders and Black Falcons. Certainly the 'theme' is different.

I'd call it a "new" theme. Had TLC said that they were releasing a Fantasy theme, and had they not given it the same name as a pre-existing Castle line, we would probably have been much more pleased.

Its semantics, really.

That's that piece that's 15 dollars on ebay,I'm glad it's really cheap on bricklink...

Well I would vote that KK2 is castle...it has knights and castles so what else could it be called...even if the knights are some kind of medieval bionicles and the castles are made out of 5 bricks and bley ones at that...
