If so I'd love to get some more of the green headbands and a couple of the white ninja hoods.

Wow, you have got to wonder if collectors of the original one are going to be happy about this? It might get confused with the original and make the price drop and the value go down.

If it's for real I will be ordering at least one of them and maybe 2. For all those guys on ebay trying to get $40 for the forest woman I say to bad. :)

I predict the forestmen will return in 2011 or at least a faction very similar to them.

I'd buy that set. As to the collectiblity, there may be quality differences that enable a hard-core collector to tell them apart, but... well, it happens. If anyone is trying to sell one off, they'd better do it before this set comes out (assuming, of course, that it's real).

well I just hope that bricklink will do the right thing, because well if you look very close I believe this forestwoman's torso is a bit darker then the original one.

Wow, lots of female figs. I'm excited for this, especially if it makes the value of the forestwoman go down. Mine is currently outnumbered about 30-1 and I wouldn't mind having a few more.

Though I hope these figs aren't of the low-quality variety.
To those who are about to Lego: toss me a few bricks.

Yeah, that's why I'm concerned because I've heard these "Vintage Minifigure Collections" have changed printing, low quality printing, or they were inaccurate with their own minfig parts, e. g. Classic Space figs and the modern helmet instead of the old one...

LEGO (or TLC if you prefer) has stated that the low quality Minifigures in the accessory and collection series has been brought back to standard set quality, so these will likely be the improved versions.

I wonder if they will have those sharp corner shoulders of many/all 2010 figures.

The classic Town pigtail hair and the belly-button actress from Studios are the ones I am most happy about. The Forest Babe is just ridiculous looking, but I can't wait to get one from this set also. As far as White Ninja Chicks go, I found a clearance bin at an Albertson's store in CA and snapped up a horde for a $1 each from the impulse range, so I ain't hurtin' at all for that one, but who'd say no to a white ninja clan or a custom Storm Shadow?

2010 is the true year of the Minifigure. :)

You will be able to tell the difference, at least with the torso. The rag hat will probably be identical. And this is the "danger" with collectible pieces. Lego can always make more. I'm a rare piece collector and that is the risk you run. I'm not angry about this.

If Josh says it's ok, I'll probably get it. It's got a couple other nice figs too... :)
