Something right in KK2 (gasp)

Post by cnelson »

Hey, I found something that TLC did for KK2 that deserves kudos--they included a 1 x 2 tile for the horse backs instead of a 1 x 2 plate! I've been replacing those for years because the horses just don't look quite right with a couple of warts on their withers.

(I know it's reaching pretty far, but I'm trying to be a glass-half-full sort of guy!)

Lego did that before, in a Town set.

#6552 Rocky River Retreat.

Although I think that you're right about it being a Castle first.

And to be honest, I prefer tiles to plates.

They did it in the set "Country Club" as well, nothing new.

That is one thing that always bugged me, but now I see they did that before.

I remember back when they used to do this, it is nice to see a return to the little touches that TLC used to do. KKII might be a gross disappointment, but there are some signs TLC might try to improve on their mistakes. The two new sets slated for the fall are certainly an improvement over the rest of the KKII line.

I like your point. I for one(probably the one and only) like certin parts of KK2. As is they Stink! But their parts are useful. I have made several cool looking minifigs from KK2 parts and others.

Hello!

That's nice, thanks for drawing the attention to this point. Finally a reason to buy KK2 sets...

It seems LEGO added tiles rather than studded plates in any town-themed sets. They already did this with the Riding Stable 6379. That's been my one and only brown tile for many years.

I've heard tell of this theme called 'Town' before... must be a great civilization to have been so kind to their horses!

Good new. It's a great improvement.:D It's mean that TLC has great ideas again, and I can continue to have hope on their creations !
