This is my pitchfork
This is my pitchfork.
There are many like it.
But this one's mine.

P.S. I just got it, it's my first one ever!

Excellent pop culture reference Anthony. I am not sure all the young uns will get it. Congrats on your first pitchfork.
I remember getting my first pitchfork. Let me say I had two when I was a kid, but they were lost to the ages. I managed a great find on evilbay back in 2000. The 6040 Blacksmith shop for $4.48 + $1.75 for shipping. A great deal and one I am happy to say went well. There was no picture and the description of the set indicated the seller did not know if the set was complete. They didn't have instructions. Anyway long story shorter, the set was near mint and was complete including the pitchfork.

After a long absence, I have returned. I can't wait to start building again.

My pitchfork is my best friend. It is my life.
I must master it as I must master my life.
My pitchfork without me is useless. Without my pitchfork, I am useless.

Congrats!
I was lucky, I've had a pitchfork ever since I can remember! (my parents got me a large box of classic castle and space when I was six, best gift they ever got me)

You know you're a good person when you see megablocks and have to do things you would rather not.

So how old are you? Anyways, the "in-joke" comes from the movie Full Metal Jacket a Stanley Kubrick film, came out in 1987. It is a famous well-known film, also one of my personal favorites. The story shows harsh marine boot camp training, and eventually leads up to the vietnam war itself. The movie is filled with alot humor. I recomend this bad Megablocks film if you have not watched it, but keep in mind it is rated R, not recomended for children.Formendacil wrote:Obviously, no one is going to explain it, so I'll come right out and ask:
What is this in-joke thing that all you geezers get?
It seems to be some sort of a three-line poem that makes a sort of an oxymoronic statement.
Can you explain it to those of us that aren't aged?
