Amazing looking set, will be getting two of these to use as the entrance to my Dragon Knights city.

Only gripe i have is the lack of Dragon Knights.
Do hope the BF heralds a return of the BF's in Kingdoms.

Nice looking set, the most encouraging thing to me about this set is the attention to detail and overall design. Almost looks like a MOC!

Thanks for the pictures, the set looks amazing. It seems like there aren't a lot of large pre-fab pieces and the walls are all brick built, which is nice. It does have a lot of great construction details such as the cheese slopes mixed in with the angled corners and the stained glass windows that I think are going to make this a really fun and interesting build.

While being one of the more expensive castle sets in a while, the price is certainly reasonable and the price/piece ratio is really good, even outside the US.

I'm excited to see the new faction and I'm going to guess that this means possibly more sets with the new Black Falcons next year.

I need to start saving too. :)

I'm not positive but I think that the image on eurobricks is really 3 sets(two towers back to back with the other small buildings added to the sides and a separate joust set)

The "gate" portion has to be in one set, with some of the outbuildings/wall sections pictured.

At any rate this is something to look forward to and the build will be fun.

Brown frogs for table legs....who would've thunk it?

It's just 2. The castle is doubled up, and each of the side walls have both a blue and brown structure. Everything else in the set is normal.

It's certainly a nice set but I'm kind of underwhelmed by it. Instead of the castle gate I would have prefered more civilians, entertainers, other knights with squires, a more fleshed out viewing gallery and bigger tents/areas for the knights.

On a more positive note, the princess' green dress is stunning. :twitch:

It is a truly amazing gem!

But not everyone can afford gems, I hope the Black Falcon comes in a cheaper set.

Hey all,

Josh was at the unveiling at BrickCon and says it is all one set.

It is indeed all one set. I doubt I can get pictures of those figs without their armor. Normally these sets get tucked into glass cases to keep everything safe.

I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE the new green princess. There is a loaf of bread that is the nougat color..this is new. The king and queen are nice.

The black falcon knight..well first there are three black falcon shields. I have not seen his torso, I am sure we will see it eventually. But the barding is the best I have seen. MUCH impressed with it.

That all being said, I think this means people who want MMV's maybe should get their sets quickly. No confirmation on that fact, but it seems to reason that it would be a logical conclusion.

I am sure more and more pictures of this set will start to appear over the next few days.

A-MAZING. So glad we can finally talk about this set after all the rumours! :P

The lion noble man and green dress are a nice new addition, as is the black falcon Knight (though I wonder why they gave him green as his secondary colour rather than a dark blue? Like the old black falcons?).

I doubt this indicates an introduction of the black falcons, but more like a AFOL friendly inclusion to generate a bit more excitment.

Probably wouldn't get two, as a single set is nice enough to display, but clever that TLG are luring people in with that suggestion!

Feel this might be Kingdoms' final hurrah.... :( But what a way to go!

(all that said, a couple of entertainers would have been nice :P)

I looked very closely, it's just a chain-gang torso underneath the Black Falcon's breastplate. I'm gonna have to find a way to get enough money for this, do or my Black Falcon dreams die!

And this is kinda off topic but it made me think, we could call the dragon knights: The Chain Gang :roflol:

Thank you TLG for making a great new jousting set. It is nice to see an updated black falcon faction. The minifig clothing graphic designs are superb.
