Sounds like some TRU stores had them in stock. I called one and was told that they 'had' had them.

At TRU more often it is BOGO 1/2 off.

I sometimes buy from Target, so if they sell sets at better prices, I'm going. Of course, there's this new Lego store opening up near me, so.....

A Target store is less than a mile away from my house. They have a gigantic amount of CITY sets right now and recently stocked a lot of NINJAGO, but fine with me to clear all that off for some LOTR..and the sooner the better! :D

Odd, when attempting to pre-order Gandalf Arrives from Target, I got a 'Cannot ship to this address ... possibly due to restrictions for the state. I might as well wait a week and catch the bus to my local Target.

So, it's the 16th -- anyone pick up one of the sets?

I went to a local Target today and they didn't have any LOTR stuff out. Lots of SW and some Avengers, but no LOTR :(

EDIT: Just read the EB review, and HOLEY MOLEY THOSE ROHIRRIM TORSOS ARE AWESOME!

I agree, those torsos are nice. The other gear the soldiers have is great too. The shield is awesome, and the helmets are cool. The Uruks look good too.

Those guys are awesome! The orcs fit the bill for evil minions.

What do you guys think about flipping the orc torsos around and using the back as the front? It seems like you could use it for human soldiers if you did that and it would look pretty slick.

Here is the pic from the EB review linked above:

That might work for peasants and outlaws. Maybe I should get my character a new outfit. :D
