I want to clarify that I don't mean they are sold out, but that there are no actual spots for them. Also, I haven't found the new big Monsters Castle in stores yet at all.

The new figs are great! I just think most of the fellowship is not accurate. The hobbits are ok, Borimir's head and hair is wrong, and Legolas has ears!

I built yesterday the helm's deep.
It's a great set, much better than what I thought when I saw the first pictures. It's expensive, though.

I appreciate that game art/characters don't always translate into real life figs/sets (still waiting for that POTC donkey...) but it's fun seeing what these things MIGHT look like...

Mostly Saruman, the armoured cave troll and the Balrog...

That cave troll....... :o I WANT that thing. With all that armor! The balrog looks really nice too.

Well, he DID have ears in the movies, and as far as I recall, in the books too. :roflol:

Aw, you beat me to it! I was watching the trailer for the LLOTR game and noticed all of the cool figures they're showing. I love the Witch King's mace and mount!

And that Barad-Dur in the background looks brick built to me. :eyebrows:

It does look interesting. Can't help but hope some of that makes the real world.

Isn't that a flail / morning star? I guess it's from the mace family?
