My favorite set
My favorite set
The royal knights castle (pictures not the link work) is my most favorite set
I never had it, but I should have!
I once saw it in a shop (some years ago, I think) and I was looking for lego
But I didn't buy it and when I returned it was gone!
I could have killed myself for that, I am unhappy each time I think about it
This set gets 10/10 from me, with the weapons and shields it has you can easily arm a small army...
To me this is the 3rd greatest set ever

*And the bulls arrive in kk2*
Cedric the bull: "Hahaha Leo we're here to- wtf?"
*and the bulls see some happy knights bouncing at each other with carts*
Cedric (shocked): "I guess we got the wrong KK''
Bull soldier (frightened): "Lets go back"

Most older sets had lots of minifigs and weapons. In the late 80s, even a $20 set would often have around 6 minifigs, while the big castles usually had at least 12.

Buy one now, it's really one of the best castles in my opinion and maybe even a must have set. It's the biggest castle ever (brickwise) after the yellow castle. Got a unique very "unboring" design that really capture the eyes.
Yeah well I really was there, but I was smart enough to buy itThe royal knights castle (pictures not the link work) is my most favorite set

Which set is this one that we are discussing?
Is it the big gray one with the 1x plate made portcullis, and the 1x1 rounds built into the front?
If so -this was a set I always wanted, but it was too expensive. Then when I was eighteen or so a neighbor kid decided he was too cool for lego, had out grown them - so he traded them all to me. This set was in his collection, and was 97 percent complete (estimated...)
He got some cool tied dyed t-shirts for them, so we were both happy.

No, that's 6080, King's Castle... a great set, with great pieces and figs... but the wrong theme...LEGOFREAK wrote:Which set is this one that we are discussing?

We are discussing 6090, Royal Knight's Castle.... the largest Castle to date (in piece count, only the pre-molded-less Yellow Castle has more). It was once my favourite set, having overtaken 6086 for several years. 6086 took over first place several years ago, but the Royal Knight's Castle remains in my top three (and of the three is the only one I own). Sure, it has its defaults, but its still a great set.

This is the set everyone is talking about:

I don't have Royal Knight's Castle, but it is a cool set. My favorite Lego set is 6085, but that's another story .

Ok - Truth be told - I never liked the look of that castle so I never bought it - sorry.
Although if they came out with it now I probably would... I mean look at what it'd be compared to, right?
Oh that link works... the others didn't, I should've known that
A friend of mine who doesn't care about Lego much has it, I just hope its intact and trade/buy it
