Maybe I'm being too simple, but I really like this knight:

That dragon knight is clearly riding a unicorn to Candy Mountain. Far from being the best, he should probably be unknighted and is about to lose his spleen anyway. :P

I give my vote to this guy. I don't think any of the other knights in this thread have more powerful mounts.
You would rather be building right now.

But what is he going to do with that lance? Anyone who gets within range of the lance is already dragon chow.

Maybe he puts a steak on the end of it and uses that to steer with?

*raze.

Sorry, razing buildings just happens to be one of my areas of expertise, so I had to correct that. ;)

Gentlemen, Tread lightly you are coming very close to being off topic which you know may lock this thread. A thread that doesn't need to be locked because others have to take it off task for the sake of humor.

I always liked the Dragon Masters, both in concept and appearance. I still have the knight from 1794 in my collection as a major player in the kingdoms, so I'll vote for him.

These are his Over, Mid and Standard designs. From memory, two are Metallic Gold and one's Metallic Yellow Gold.
Bluesecrets wrote:I object! That golden knight is a "pansy" in my castle world. What self respecting Knight wears gold?!?! It is a soft metal!!!! It isn't going to stop any weapon coming at him.
On the surface I'd agree but that brings up the subject of the surface. It's probably enameled / ceremonial armour. Mind you, the set he came in suggested battle. It would make him a bit of a target.

Yep, I'd have to agree that the armor is merely gold-plated. A set of armor made of pure gold would be even more ridiculously heavy than a normal set of armor!

If I remember correctly in the 1979/1980 Excalibur, wasn't Mordred wearing Gold plated armor when he battled his father's knights? He didn't look weak in that film. Game of Thrones "Kingsguard" have gold armor? Not 100% on that though...

I like the Gold Knight, my problem with him is that he was released too late compared to the rest of the faction. Plus now he's rather expensive, or was last time I checked. My favorite knight? Hmmm, don't really judge by aesthetics alone, but most of the Lion knights (2010) might have an edge as grey is one of my most favored colors and Lions my favorite factions.

I personally love the Lion army from the Kingdoms theme, but the Kingdoms Dragon knight who's already been mentioned is awesome, and he came in set that was only £20 :D
I actually really like the new Castle Dragon knight from the Gatehouse Raid. The fact that he has the same sword as the Ringwraiths makes him very cool :)
