I liked the close-up of the blob of glue that was obviously required to hold the gem into the wizards staff...

Great ending.

I'm guessing TLG commissioned a number of different animators to do the different episodes? The first few at least seemed to have different names in the credits (on youtube at least).

Yep, that's why it varied from stop-motion with animated faces, to only stop-motion, to animation, etc., from video to video. I kinda like how they did that way, it mixed things up a bit.

I agree, that was really cool.

Are us builders able to make animations, and not just stop-motion animations?

Did anybody else notice that the throneroom in chapter 6 is almost an exact copy of Sirens-Of-Titans' Valholl Throne Room:

Indeed. Great spot. Any idea if Siren was actually involved in these? I wouldn't be surprised if TLG had snapped him up for something.

I thought several of the scenes from the last movie seemed familiar ... very good spot :)

Is it stop motion animation or animation? Sometimes I think it is stop-motion, but other times I don't. Anybody know?

I'm pretty sure it's both. For the first three (I believe) or four(?) it's mostly stop-motion with animated faces, then full-blown animation, stop-motion twice... I think, I wasn't really keeping track. But I know for sure both ways were used, even though I prefer stop-motion a bit more than the animation.

I for one am glad they did them and both methods were done well. I wish they would make more.

Maybe they will, and somehow the wizards will escape back into the world of LEGO ;)
Number 6 was definitely the best!
