Hello!

This set is nice as it is. Looking at the pic I simply like the blend of colours and I like the things in the pic. We have a shrubbery, and everything green is always welcome! We have a target stand, and it shows a little of the every-day-life of a LEGO Castle minifig.

This minifig of course is a Black Dragon/Monarch fig, not a "Crusader" as could be supposed looking at the set's name.

Bye

Well, with that colouration, and that bearded face, who could mistake him for anything but a Black Monarch/Black Knight?

Nice little set. Nifty target to shoot at and decent set of weapons. I assume this was cheap so all in all a nice little set.

The basic scale torso fig is one of the best all-around castle figures ever. The greenery is nice, as is the target, but I'd have prefered a more traditional archery butt rather than the arch.

Nice little set. I assume it would be cheap so you could buy a lot and get great stuff. The target, spear, and bush make this set a 10/10 for sure :)

This set is simple, small, and packed full of extremely useful pieces. That fig is one of my all-time favorites, and I just can't say no to a target and an extra bush. Plus, the fact that the fig is an archer is another great bonus.

It's funny, when this set came up everyone I talked to really disliked it. I don't know how they could not like it. It's great all of you think its a good set.

I see so many good points about it. The target piece is one of the best! THe fig is how I have alot of my archers, and all the other parts are super useful. In fact I have several copies of this set, and when I bought them I built so many variants out of just the parts in the bag. To me, even this tiny set really embodies what LEGO should be about.

A typical army builder. It features my favorite black knights torso, a bush and the green plate which all can be (and indeed are  ) put into good use. The target may be a rare piece but I seem to have quite a lot of them and only used them to create a Robin Hood story MOC back when "The Prince Of Thieves" was a blockbuster.

Nothing incredible - but handy. I'd love to be able pop into a shop sometime on the way home from school and buy a couple of these with some spare change - because back then, that's how easy it would have been back when these awesome little sets with their great assortmet of pieces were available.

Whats realy important to know is what this sets uses are.If you buy 1 you have a cool soldier. If you buy 3 you have an archery range. If you buy 5 you have a tournament. If you buy 20 you have a whole batalion of archers and spearsmen (and at a good price too  ).I love almost all of the old army builders. If onely I was born during the legoland era  .

I've always wanted one of these but the urgency lessened when I got a hold of a whole lot of target pieces... The fig is from my faviourite theme and every piece is useful so I still need to hunt this down ; )

God Bless,

This is a great little set. Small, the kind you can buy everytime you go into the store without feeling guilty. Pretty good fig, not-so-bad target, and even at today's prices would probably be like $1.99. I like it. I wish Lego would have more sets of this size available at stores these days...

I am a big fan of the scale-mail torso's, so I love this set. My mom bought me the variety pack when I was 5 (I'm 14 now) from a lady in a garage sale, and I loved it. This product was extremley cheap, and was a great army builder. I believe when it came out it was 3 dollars, and for 15 bucks, you could get 5 archers, so I think that's awesome.

I'd give the variety pack a 10/10, if you bulk bought the set 10/10, this set alone 8/10.
