I really really like the Black Monarch's. They are the example of a perfect knight. They also have alot of eu armors that also neat to have. Can anyone tell me why the DM have the same emblem as the BK but in green????? :?

Hello!

The plural is used without any apostrophe. So it is "monarchs". Furthermore there is only one monarch because a monarch is a single ruler so there is no plural at all in respect of one and the same faction :-)

Can anyone tell me why the DM have the same emblem as the BK but in green????? :?
Because the set-designers in 1993, when the Dragon Masters came out, were quite lazy and uninspired and didn't bother to invent a new shield design.

Classic Knights, specifically the guys who came in 677. That was my first castle set.

back in the day I was a huge dragon master's fan and managed to get all of their sets the year it came out. I liked there detailed and unique designs. Now, however, i look back at the older stuff and put my name down for "Black Knights" which is also known as dungeon master I think. you just gotta love that one castle http://www.adequate.com/lego/reviews/Details/56.html
What I thought this was then, I think it is now.

This is a really tough question to answer as Lego has produced a lot of great factions. As for my answer, I'm going to make it based STRICTLY on the faction itself, and the appearance of the minifigs in the faction, and not on the sets.

That said, I'd have to say that the Black Knight's are my favorite, with the Forestmen and Black Falcons battling it out in a close finish. All three are very distinct looking and very pleasing to the eye.

The worst faction is the Dragon Masters. The lead knight looks like a clown (with his mis-colored black and blue legged pants), and the colors are just plain ugly (the Wizard looks good though). As a note, I do not include the Fright Knight's or any faction that came after them as to me, castle ended with the Fright Knight's.

Sorry, I meant to comment on this in my last post and just plain forgot to.

I'm not so sure that this is true, at least not for me anyway. My first Lego sets were the Crusaders (Lion Knight's) and Forestmen. I also had a lot of Dragon Masters and Royal Knight's, and a few Forestmen. I believe the only Black Knight's I owned came from Crusader sets, and I didn't own a single Black Falcon.

Maybe for me, things worked out in an opposite manner, in that my favorite factions are the ones I didn't have? Although this wouldn't explain the Forestmen...

I think the bottom line is that most people like a faction that had attractive looking figures and solid sets. The Dragon Masters failed on both counts and that is why they are one of the more loathed factions in the world of Lego castle.

Forestmen. Sure they're not typical knights, but you can't beat green. :)

I don't get it? Does that mean you dislike black falcons?

Anyways I guess people are right when they say the first faction you've got is the one you like most. For me I think the Black Knights or the Forestmen is number one. Black Falcons and/or Wolfpack comes in as a second.

Most people don't like the Dragon Masters, because of their cartoonish appearance. I'm not sure why so many people have said that they like them.

Ahh yes they do apper cartoonish but that's why I give them black arms and pants. Now as most of you know I wrote this at the beging of my time here so now I have grown toward Black Falcons but I don't have any so I am at a loss. Now I want to know some more things.

1. What sets minifigs do you dislike
2. What are your favorite custome minifigs.

PS Whould anyone like to sell, or trade For Black falcons?
could you tell me before you go back in time, I was talking to a robe on the coat rack for 20 minuets before I releized you left!
