I'm so glad that TLG realized that they split the castle vote and appropriately weighted the categories.

I am quite pleased that the top for themes that made it, are almost exactly my top 4 Lego themes. (If Classic Space was simply just Space. Or, y'know, Blacktron...)

Regardless of which one Lego chooses, I am quite likely to purchase the set.

I voted Bionicle.

Why? Because of the 4 themes that got in, Bionicle is the one I want to see most. Classic Space would be my second vote. Pirates just got a wonderful set in Barracuda bay, and castle just simply is my 4th favorite of the 4. I am glad that Castle got in, and TLC did a smart thing in doing it.

So here's to 1/4 of the fans getting happy, and the other 3/4s getting ticked off!

From what is being said it's a nod to the 1984 lion kings castle. It's rumored to be $350. I hope this is all true and we get a large scale castle. I also hope for more civilians and different animals. There are cows coming in the summer city sets this year so maybe some cows in the set. It's also rumored to be released in August.

As much as I wish that were true, I think the rumors of it being castle are way more substantial.

Castle is more-or-less confirmed at this point. $350(ish) price point.

Based on how awesome the Blacksmith set was at "only" $150, I am really excited about the potential awesomeness that is coming our way with this castle. Hoping for some updated classic castle prints (peasants, lion knights, forestmen, etc) as well as hopefully some new barding and animals.

Dare I even wish for... the return of the GOAT?? :spin:

Those are the same things I am interested in.

The set is possibly great, but I would have loved to get some more smaller sets as well to get more of those figs/animals and castle accessories. Without having to buy multiple of that set or buy those things loose.

The forum has rules against leaks, I'm guessing that is part of the reason.
