(any one) here have the luck to own every single castle set (include all boxes and instructions in all versions) from the first castle sets till 1992/1993? :P

or you have most of it? i mean if (any one) out there who is collecting them, and just left a few sets to complete it.. mind posing your inventory to let me envy

i only know of a "jojo" in this forum who seems to have all of it.. and even a red Ghost, that i cant find in peeron.

If I remember correctly, the RED Ghost was not an official part.

Here is the picture to let people see:

Jojo is Johannes Koehler and he owns most but not all sets with boxes from the LEGO Castle line. A few extremely rare sets are next to impossible for fans to find but can be assembled from other sets. Although LEGO has some of these sets in their vaults, we do not have boxes for:

http://www.classic-castle.com/sets/archives/6002.html
http://www.classic-castle.com/sets/archives/0016.html
http://www.classic-castle.com/sets/archives/6103c.html

and set 0015.

Personally I have most castle sets made but I am still looking for many of the boxes. I will wait on misb, if I ever collect these, until my income increases substantially

Aye, I happen to own boxes for most Castle sets. At least I have a box for every Castle set that's ben in German catalgue + some boxes for US sets. I do not have boxes for the US-versions of the very classic Castle sets 375/6075, 383/6083 and 677/6077, only the European ones without the /60xx. For some smaller sets I don't own an empty box to put the assembled model in but I have a MISB version (6103,6021 and 6040 come to mind right now.)

The Castle boxes are gathered on my wardrobe, and that's what it looks like (pics = links):

WOW WOW WOW
what a collection! by the way hope you don't mind my friend who use your module idea in the your brickshelf to create his castle..

at the same time, what do you all think of the "US-version" and the "international version" of Lego sets ?
particularly 6086.. i only know that there is a difference in parts count and the box design.. is that all ?

Jojo isnt married. (although he is probably hungry for spending food money on LEGO  )

A hint for you young collectors, get your collection before you have a family who will want food, clothes, and shelter :D

I'll get a note of that! What good is money if it isn't put to good use? Food? Blah, spend that money getting a LEGO turkey.

Well, if you get your collection before the family, you could always live in a large LEGO castle!

I'm really impressed at these collections. One day, do you think i could come over and play with then? :D

I'll be good

There's no reason why he should not use this idea. I don't have a © on it anyway.

"US-Version" basically means there is a different box design with the name of the model printed on the box and an official piece count. Also the assortment of the additional/spare parts may vary between European/international and US-version. The models are the same.

No, I'm not. And I wouldn't consider to marry you :-) Nor would I marry your sister (if you happen to have one) unless I see a picture of her first :-)

Well if did have a sister (or 6:wink:) then I would not want them to marry someone with over 100 LEGO boxes in his wardrobe.

To the best of my knowledge, I am only missing three sets. I have been meaning to do up a checklist of all the castle sets to make sure. This is of course limited to the 1984 and on Castle sets. And I don't have the KK2 stuff either.

The three are:

#6040 Blacksmith Shop
Image

#6060 Knight's Challenge
Image

#6073 Knight's Castle
Image

Of course they are the very hard ones to get too. Though I'm almost able to make them all from spare parts at this point. (Except for that blasted brown cape from #6040). If anyone is looking to get rid of any of these cheap, let me know.
