Great Work on the set archives!

Post by Dragon Master »

Hi,

I'd just like to say to Ben, Jojo, Yaron and all others involved, admins or otherwise, that the set archives is totally great. i especially like the little descriptions in each set!

That being said, why not a castle minifig archive!

I know some of the more notable figs, like Majisto, have other names in different countries. And prehaps the list could be didvided into factions.

Have you thought about this?

Hi Dragon Master,

I am glad you like the set archives. I too am very grateful for the photographic assistance of Yaron and Jojo. All of the coding, photoediting, linking, and text descriptions were done by me over the last year and a half of CC. There is still much that we hope to do for the archives.

Actually, a minifigure image archive is being worked on right now. However, due to the enormous number of figures, this will take some time. I will edit images starting with 1978 and work up chronologically to the present day. Periodic updates will be available. But I have just started this process of editing recently.

Thanks for your interest in the sets section

Yes, thanks for all the hard work you've put into making this a comprehensive resourse, and I look forward to seeing the fig database.

A minifig archives is a great idea too. :)
I suppose Jojo will help you a lot for the pictures. He had already a big database of minifig on is internet site.

Hi Clark!

Which set does this fig come from? It's neither from 383/6038 nor from 0016:

And the black knight from 383/6083 should be wearing red trousers with black hip instead:

Just thought I'd mention it :-)
