What about the dude in this set?

Anyhow, I would vote for Royal king no matter who was on the poll...

I think that the KKI one is the best, I do'nt know, the face jsut says KING. The rest of his body I do'nt know about, the legs look good, but the torso does'nt really go toghether with the banners of this faction.
Any way, they all had lions as CoAs so I guess they are basicaly the same guy, except this new one, Mathias. He has a lion too, maybe a close realtive.
Joel.

I was about to ask the same thing. I always thought of this guy as a king even though he doesn't have a crown. Anyone else have any thoughts on this?Dragon Master wrote:What about the dude in this set?

Personally I don't like the LEGO crown too too much. I think it is nessassary, but should not be worn around all the time. It looks too much like a crown to pass for a battle helmet. And real rulers did not wear there crown for long periods of time. Crowns were uncomfortable and cumersome, only for ceremony.JoshWedin wrote:I was about to ask the same thing. IMO, the king from 383 is fine!

Sean Connery of course, because every good king needs a Scottish accent.

The chess king I would have to say. The Royal knight and KK1 are ok. Good faces, ok shirts, but they have only so much use. KK1 pants are awesome. I hate the Kk2 king. The gloves are disgusting. And the beard is terrible. His whole colour sceme is horrible.
The chess king has the most useful parts, not to mention the fact that he was the king I never had but wanted.

It's funny, because I actually use the KK1 king's head for Sean Connery... why I have use for a Sean Connery minifig is beyond even me.Clark wrote:Sean Connery of course, because every good king needs a Scottish accent.
Anyways, I like the KK1 king because a) he looks like Sean Connery and b) I like the color scheme and design of his body. Perhaps the body isn't quite fit for a king, but I like it anyway.
