No one is praising anything. We're just happy they improved.

We know you hate them, despite their improvements. You don't have to keep burying them into the dirt. That's been done WAY too much with the first season of KK2.

Its a step in a better direction. Instead of dooming it further, just realize that even a baby step is a step in a good direction.

Hear, hear, Draygen. Of course KK2 isn't as good as some earlier stuff. It still suffers from purple knights, large orange buzz-saws, Bionicastle pieces mixed in with the system sets, and horse-mounted catapaults. HOWEVER, it's a huge step up from previous years. Look at 8877. Compare it to 8781. Improvement? Compare 8877 to 6098(King Leo's Castle), 6082(Fire Breathing Fortress), and 6097(Night Lord's Castle). Structurally, these other ones don't compare. Even 6090(Royal Knights Castle) and 6086(Black Knights Castle) are built on the dreaded raised baseplates. I don't think that 8877 can stand up to 6086, much less the early castles built on flat baseplates, but it's a step in the right direction: it's structurally sound. And hinged!

Yeah I was poking a little fun at Sir Marcellus about the Buzzsaws and Horse mounted catapults, but nowhere near anything that could be considered flaming. Unless I am hallucinating that I was posting something here......

Well, this is kind of off-topic, but I had to say it....

If those buzz-saws are supposed to be flames, would talking about them be flaming? :D

Only if you were talking and flinging at the same time. :)
