Okay, some people have said this to be the Viking maiden/female.

Looking at it closely and blowing up the pic a bit... I think its likely to be the Viking lord. The yellow beard seems to create a lipstick and halter-top effect on the minifig. But what woman would have her boobs crushed by a black strap (for the sword scabard?) crossing diagonally on her torso?

I thought that was a yellow beard the second I saw it.

That would be nice, I mean the more diffrent looking body parts you can get, the more interesting the figs will be.

Are those set ever cool! I can't wait to get them. Just when I was starting to think '05 was another so-so year they go and do something like this. I'm just blown away right now. Hopefully there's not too many new or specialized bricks in these sets. And hopefully they sell well enough for Lego to make more.

lol, I concede. Pity though...After looking at that closer, I'm pretty sure it's not a female. Oh well...we got most everything else we wanted from this line, including awesome new helmets with and without horns.

One thing I really love though is the colour. Notice the colour of these figures. They're not obnoxious! The figs have colour, yes, but not overdone like KK2. Black and grey and brown are the predominant colours.

And I'm especially liking the shield 2nd from the right on the Longship. It's totally awesome.

About the females issue, Im pretty sure that Lego will come out with new Viking sets later that will feature the Valkarie.
