True, true. Although for 8877, one of the four has an octagonal shield. Hopefully we will get both(or at least the triangle ones)

I guess we won't be getting chrome Shadow Knight helms ... pity. I think it would have made for some cool Numenorians.

If we get both thats great, but I REALLY hope we get the triangle shields. I also like the newer swords, less yellow and red and more normal colors. Silver, Bronze and I love the black one from Vladrek.

I need to save up, this summer my cash will be drained hehe.

I am starting to believe the triangle shields are not gonna show up in their final model... If that happens it will lower their value.

The catapult set just changed from ok to bad Everything else looks ok. Will definately get myself a shadow knight castle.

I hate to break this to you, but every new set will be bley. There is no more dark grey.

In the picture above there is the guy with a triangle shield and grey sword and the listed area has him with a blue sword and a oct shield.

That's the same Santis picture that is on the current set boxes, meaning that they just reused it without thinking of the new shields (and I think they just reverse it and use the mirror image on some of the other boxes).
It looks like you get both the heater-style and the octagon shaped shields depending on the set and the character. For example, Santis has the heater shield in both sets that he's in, while Rascus has the heater shield in 8874 and it looks like he has no shield at all in 8877. Jayko has the octagon shield in 8875 but a heater in 8877. Danju is only shown with an octagon shield, but we're missing a picture for 8876.

From what I know, I suspect these are prototypes, not the final thing. I hope so. I want the triangular shields back.

Check out the shadow knight in the banner at the top right of the pic. He appears to be holding a black sword, and from the looks of it, it is a classic sword (or at least not a KKII sword!).

However, something tells me that these pics are even earlier then the catalogue scan. There seems to be to many inconsistencies and mistakes.

It will still be rare, unless they go back to using ABS for making the short sword.

I, too, hope it isn't black, but that is just my opinion. The old black sword will still be rare, since it is made of ABS. And they did rerelease the light grey swords...so I don't know. I was also against the Legends releases and a lot of people have liked those. And black swords are cool! That is why I now have six.

Who said anything about not sharing? Anyone can get on Bricklink and buy a black sword, if they so choose. Just for my own information, why do you almost always put down and deride people when you don't agree with them?
