Picked up four of these for my son in 2000 in KMart clearance for $5.00 each with the dragon's cave. Helpful as an army builder, and all of the extra wagon wheels are great for building small attack weapons / carts.

It is not often you see a cart built out of stone. At least that's what I think the gray bits are. It's a nice parts-pack, but the set design is unfortunately not very good, which I'm afraid goes for most of the Fright Knight sets.

I agree with Aliencat. Not a nice design, but the figs and parts can be useful.

This set is awsome for the parts. a few useful figs, the barding, a horse, a dragon, and some bricks to top it off.

Design wise:

Playability: I guess one could drum up a game with this set.

I got this set and built it. Overall, it was a nice set for parts but I'm sure I just had the money for one. Very quirky design to it.

Meh... I like the minifigs, that's about all. The cart looks weird. It gives me a feel that I don't like... I don't know...

As is the custom with the Fright Knights, the design is ridiculous (a stone prison cart carried around in the air by a dragon?! ) but at least there are some great parts.

That set got me through my childhood. I lost some the pieces though.

I recently got this set off ebay for cheap. I got out of legos right before the fright knights came along, so I never got a black old-style dragon. I also think the horse barding is really cool. The wagon is a little silly looking with the black wings on it, but it's not a bad set really. I think it's cool that the dragon is pulling the wagon instead of horses.
