About the Viking Axe...

Post by JPinoy »

Not sure if anyone else noticed this....
If you look at the removeable axe head, you'll see that the circle/ring of the axe is about 1/2 as wide as the stem of the axe blade itself.

Now... I know why they haven't made a dual-headed axe. Thats because they don't need to as these removable axe heads can be placed together to make a double headed axe.

So I hope there are no more "complaints" about Lego not making 2-sided battle axes. :P

I've seen that mentioned in one of the various Viking posts.... But in any case, you're right! It's a very cool feature, and a great design. :D

Chris and I figured the same thing when we first saw the original grainy pics. It's in a thread somewhere but I'm too lazy to find it.

Other than that Vikings didn't really use them? 8)

Yeah, it was pointed out that the axe blades stack back to back somewhere along the line. LEGO actually playing to its strength: the mind boggles!

I wonder if the warhammer is made in the same fashion? Or would this be just wishful thinking.....
