I think that this is a nice looking set, I mean who doesn't need some more minifigs, especially non-military.
I never owned this set, and if I could I would, but based on what I can see, I think I would rate it a 7.5/10

As a cart, this is more appealing than Knights' Arsenal and Supply Wagon, but lags behind Wolfpack Renegades, Crusader's Cart, and Dungeon Hunters.

So, it's middle of the road. The maiden figure always made me want this, but I was not fortunate enough to get this when it was available. I'll probably just buy a hat and assemble this from spare parts though. This set isn't appealing enough to pay collector prices.

This was actually a pretty good little set, and exemplary of what I'd like to see TLG do more often: a cheap set that included a non-military figure (as well as a soldier). I'd give it an 8.

I was not lucky enough to receive that set...but I like it very much. It gives two very nice minifigs (esp. the lady) and I love chariots and small sets to populate medieval villages.
And we don't have to forget that this is a civilian set, which is a rare thing!
I can certainly give it a 8/10-

When it was release, this set had a couple of thing going for it:

1-A treasure chest, that was not common at the time.

2- There's not a lot of set that came with a female minifig.

3- The '' harnais'' ( forgive me, I don't know the word in english) for the horse could be useful to build other cart.

The overall design is nice so i give this set a 4.5/5.

Our term, harness, is quite similar to yours. The term likely came over during the Norman conquest.

I like sets like this. They are small simple and each person has a reason for being there. Some of the more recent sets have "characters" where they do not belong. Drawbridge Defense http://shop.lego.com/ByTheme/Product.as ... n=473&d=70 has a princess (or queen) and a jester at what appears to me to be the first line of a castles defense. More troops would have made more sense, but I was happy to get the jester and queen anyway. You can never have too many carts and other small sets in a Lego kingdom. This lady could be a lesser noble and the soldier her body guard. Very simple... 5/5
