The glued baseplate can be useful, and it exists of a reason. Some ideas:

Castle hall room
Town Square
Dungeon floor tile
Harry Potter "Wizard's Chess"

It's available!

Excellent, time to celebrate!!!

And search up some money....

While I'm not too thrilled about a glued board, I'm not depressed by it either.

Think of it as a much thicker baseplate. Excellent for bulking up those brick-built countrysides.

Ach du leibe!!

Is there no end to the money I want to spend on LEGO?  :D

I am making a trip to Alberta next week to get some of the new KK2..... Now this will be available, and if all is true (no glue regular minifigs) then I want a few..... Waiting for Jojo's review to hit the preorder button. I will have for sale or trade some of those blue kettle helms as I have 150 or so of the dark grey ones that may look better to me...

Just made a Pre-Order of 4. One set for chess the rest for figs. Once they arrive I will have many blue knights for sale or trade. I can't wait to see some pics once Jojo has his set in hand. I'd like to know what I'm getting into.

After a long absence, I have returned. I can't wait to start building again.

Yes, I just noticed that folder :) . Apparently the white pawns(blue?) have jayko prints- doesnt matter for me really, just too bad they didnt make a cool torso design... Oh well, its a such small thing noone will care about it. The main thing is that its a cheap source for a baseplate, 24 minifigs and some extra horse helms and weapons.

wow... that's actually kind of a letdown for me... the last thing I wanted was a bunch of Jayko wanna-be's. Oh well, I'll still get 2. ;-)

Why is it $21 dollars? Just because it's a new set or something? I wonder if it will be available in the USA for that much
