Re: Available in Chicago
Cool! Now I have to go check the Lego store near me and see if it is there. I already pre-ordered one but maybe I can scrape some more cash together.Cat wrote:The set is selling for US$50 at the Chicago LEGO Store.

PS. I got a letter from Lego the other day. It was to tell me that they aren't shipping these out until June 30 (which we already knew). Did anyone else get one of these? It seemed weird that they mailed it to me instead of an email.

Mall of America Imagination Station has the available also. I picked one up and it is very nice I will be getting more soon.
My only complaint is the skeleton queen. I switched the head and now she is beatiful as a dark queen should be.

I ordered the set but did not get a letter or an email saying it would be delayed until the 30th. But I have recieved similar letters in the past for other products. I wonder how they decide who gets letters and who does not.PS. I got a letter from Lego the other day. It was to tell me that they aren't shipping these out until June 30 (which we already knew). I wonder the same thing. I have ordered things that were "backordered" before, but never got a letter. I have gotten emails though. Very strange.architect wrote:I ordered the set but did not get a letter or an email saying it would be delayed until the 30th. But I have recieved similar letters in the past for other products. I got a letter too. I thought I got it because my entire order (2 chess sets and the Death Star) were all back ordered, plus the ship date for the Death Star has been pushed back to Sept.

I think its pathetic to put it up at all before the release, they could atleast say when.
