Pictures of Knights Kingdom Tall Figures from Paris Toy Fair
Castle Enthusiasts,
I found some pictures of the new Knights Kingdom Tall Figures from the Paris Toy Fair:
http://www.action-figure.com/Article10692.html
I was surprised to learn from Arne that the shields are cardboard.

You can see from the pictures that the figures come in canisters similar to Bionicle Canisters but with castle tops to them. I wonder if they will be useable in construction.
Anyway, I thought everyone might want to see these.
Has anyone besides Arne obtained any of the sets yet?

Did anyone notice the small green night in this pic?
http://www.action-figure.com/ImageBank+ ... 33056.html
The fig looks pretty decent, but the shield for the minifig may also be cardboard. If that is the case the new castle line may be worse than we thought.
Crosses fingers for abs, I had high brasso hopes for these shields...

After a long absence, I have returned. I can't wait to start building again.

I saw these pictures a couple of days ago. It is nice to have more close up shots of the smaller knights. I have to say that the new visors look very good to me
The shields do look upsetting though
I think the shields have a great appearance which I like, but will they survive kids playing with them?

What a great idea! I love wooden toys. This is due to the fact that my Dad would build them for us. They are also nice because they are durable and last. Why don't we just go back to wooden legos...
A car that my Dad made last year for one of my little brothers:

One of the main reasons why people like LEGO products is that they last. I should be able to give my bricks to my grandchilden to play with. I grew up first playing with LEGO bricks made in the 1960's. Most of them were not broken and still work fine.

Mini-shields
Yes, it is scary that they're the same white color as the big cardboard ones are. Even if the mini-shields are plastic, I bet they have stickers.

This is my first time looking at these new huge knights and they seem like a big rip off of binoicle. I like the helmet for the green minifig knight in the pic at this link.
http://www.action-figure.com/ImageBank+ ... 33056.html
I also noticed in the corner a black knight and his helmet seems pretty cool. I don't now for what i would use it but most likely an orc.

re
Cardboard minifig shields? Hmmm...that's interesting.
NOT!!
For some reason I doubt that they are cardboard, the pattern on them is to simulate the look of the larger shields. Unfortunately, the large ones are held together with a 2x2 radar dish on the front to the minifig scale shields have a silly little white dot on them.
On a side note, the green armour looks to have a gold swirly pattern on it. Perhaps it'll even look good and the visor...the visor shows lots of promise. The black one is a bit hard to make out so I can't really form an opinion about it. Regarding the black euro armour though, niiiiice but I'll have buy a fresh bottle of brasso when I bring that sucker home. The pattern on it looks to be quite ug-leeee. *where's the barfing emoticon when you need it?*

Trust me, I think I'm funnier than you do.
Why do I have to add the word "minifig" to my spell checker every time I use it?!
