Well, that is my favorite Bull minifig. The spear and crossbow are always nice weapons. The pieces are... eh, mostly useless. I give it an 8/10, mostly for the minifig.
The Weezil character in KK1 was found in a basket in the forest, Cedric raised him as his own son and he’s story line character revolved around his ability to find trails and keep the bulls hidden in the forest.
Also Cedric’s Soldiers were trained in crossbow use by Weezil, hence the set designers arming the minifigure with a crossbow.
The bull’s side used dark grey crossbows while the more noble lion knights hand weapons were brown bows and crossbows.
The catapult basket design was referenced again in 8777 Vladek Encounter.
Bricklink reference this set with the title Slinger, Im going to ask somebody fluent in Japanese the correct title one day.
The catapult is very average but this set was part of the larger 4 box kabaya set which had alternate set designs for combination of the 4 sets.
A misb copy of the boxed 4x kabaya KK1 set is now very expensive.
Honestly, this was just another cheap army builder. A decent fig with a few bits of kibble for the parts bin. As army builders go that isn't too bad (it's quite standard actually). The Bull figs themselves actually have a really nice torso design. It's funny that for several years fans were clamouring for army builders yet in 2000 LEGO produced a plethora of cheap minifig sources.
I do own a couple of the bulls, but this is a set that i would never buy. So i would give it a 2/10.
