I could be wrong here, but I am guessing this won't be allowed... although it doesn't really go against the written rules, it does seem to go against the spirit of the rules. However, I could be wrong here.

I can assure you that I am very curious as to what all these news sets looks like, but we'll wait and see.

I'm not an Admin... but I'll speak with a bit of their authority here...

Posting, publicly, how and where to find leaked pictures is not smiled on. The Classic-Castle policy is that pictures that have not been made available to the public through the PROPER channels are NOT to be discussed or posted. We do this in appreciation to LEGO for the things they do for us, such as contacts with Jake McKee, showing up at Brickfest, listening to our suggestions.

We, as fans, demand so much ot them that it's only fair that we allow them their secrecy. Remember, what we can see, the competition can see- and who wants Mega to get a jumpstart on LEGO's market.

As far as posting how and where to find leaked pictures, and not actually posting them here, we consider that to be contradictory to the spirit of the law as it is laid down. If you REALLY want to know, then Private Message the users who know of the links, or go look on other sites for them (Eurobricks is especially notorious). But don't make it public.

Yes, we're all excited, but seeing the pics early isn't going to change their release date, and it's a courtesy that we ought to extend.

I heartily agree. My friends are constantly surprised by how much contact our community has with Lego. Very few, if any, of them have any kind of contact with the companies that produce their hobbies. It would be a shame if that relationship was damaged due to leaked pictures that we will see eventually anyway.

Both ottoatm and Formendacil are correct.

This post is not meant to undermine their authority, but rather to give full authority to their statements.

Posting detailed instructions on how to find leaked images violates the spirit of the Classic-Castle ToS. A URL is just an automated map to a location, anyway.

The Admins are currently looking into just how leaked these images are (or if we can get pictures released to us), but until we hear otherwise they should be considered leaks and thus a ToS violation.

We thank you for your patience until 'legal' pictures are released.

Proper channels are very important. If you purchase a 2006 set and that has a catalog or leaflet in it with new set pictures, that is ok. If you get a shop at home catalog, that is ok. If Classic-Castle or any fan site recieves preview pictures that is also ok. What is not accepted are images from toy dealers catalogs, toy fairs without permission, images from within the company (which Eurobricks has had before), etc.

On occasion leaked pictures are allowed to be posted after contact from a LEGO Community Team member. I will ask Jake and Steve about these photos and see if they can be posted or if we will get any better preview pictures.

Well, Greg Farshtey (a Lego worker/writer) of BZP has allowed any images from this catalogue to be posted.
