If you could only buy one...
OK 2004 looks like its going to give us 2 large castles. I'm pumped about that!
But they both will be around $100!
I'll probably buy one first and then wait for a sale on the other.
If you had to make choice though...
The new Knights Kingdom Castle

The new Hogwarts Castle

Ok, I voted for the new hogwarts. I got a bunch of heads and hands so one or two 'Peach Sets' won't bother me. I hardly even use thous figs anyway, just the capes usually. And now we don't have that awful star pattern on the capes!
The figs in both sets aren't the greatest but for parts, you gotta go with Hogwarts. The new plate roof is nice and we get big doors (even though they are Bellville) and those metal gate doors. I'm very excited about the next installment in the Harry Potter line.
I also can't wait for those ghosts! I think I like them better than the classic ones. They certainly are much better than the old hogwarts ones!

I voted neither - I do think that they're both horrible. I think I could better spend $100 on the parts I specifically need from bricklink than sets which might only have a few useful parts.

KK2 Castle. Why? Well, the new swords which looks quite useful. The barding and horse helmet, new knights, new parts like flags and etc.

Hogwarts all the way!
IMHO. I think the parts are way better - clock, new brown doors, two dementors (!), iron gates, and LOTS OF TAN!
Sadly, my wallet is full of nothing but dust right now...
