Rather than feeling jealous, I would like to know if differents torsos/shields can help to date classic sets. For example, are pink 375 shields older than purple ones?

Yes, they can help. The darker the colour of a 375-crown-shield is, the older is the piece:


old - medium - most recent (still old, since the "yellow" Castle was discontinued in 1984)

The dark shield is from the initial release, 1978, the light pink shield with the dark grey shadow beneath the crown is from the last edition. When they did change the colours in between I don't know.

Great collection! I personally don't collect those because of the price tag that comes with them. I can only imagine how much that cost. But, it's still a great collection.

I love looking at other people's collections. They give me ideas for my own.
