I must also confess that my jaw dropped once I clicked on the link! Two words: Oh my. I had passed on the KKII Chess Set because I simply didn't want it, but I really want this Viking Set! My one complaint is that it only comes with two shields, but I can live with that. The amount of soldiers and axes more than makes up for it! Thank you LEGO.

Megabollocks! This seems to be a US and CAN only set... AGAIN (just like other good things such as 6060 + 6071)! :x Neverywhere available in Europe I am afraid.

Lacks shields... BL will be good for that.

Actually, it comes with six. There's a shield on the front of each of the rooks. :)

I didn't even see that. Even better! Yup, I'm definitely getting this set.

You're overreacting a bit aren't you? Many sets are released in the US first, and this set will most likely be available in Europe very soon.

I will look into this to see if the set will be released later in Europe.

I highly, highly doubt it. I bet you three blue 1x3 bricks and and a trans-red 1x1 plate that the board is glued, though.

When news of the KK2 set was revealed, someone heard from someone else that the minifigues would be glued. This sparked the No Glue Revolution: dozens of CC members copied Ben's No Glue avatar and spawned posts begging TLC not the glue the figures. It turned out that it was the board, and not the figures that were glued.

I can not wait to get paid so I can get this......!!!!!!!!

This is a lot better than the knights kingdom one i think, but that might just be because I don't like the KK2-1,2 stuff...

I hope I get paid soon!!!!!!

Oh thanks for clearing that up :) . Also, if a Black Falcons vs Crusaders chess set was released, I would buy at least 20.

I think I'm man enough to admit that that almost brought a tear to my eye.

Man, this is one of those rare occasions I wish I had a job...

Thank you TLG!
