Weekly Set Review: Skeleton and Ghost

Sweet, by the way, i checked on Dacta and the mosaic sets are being sold there. Don't no how that educates the kiddies, but it is there.

Maybe it teaches the mathematics of art? Or maybe art in general? An activity to describe how a collection of dots can be put together to form a picture without lines, exactly how a picture is rendered on a TV or computer monitor?

How is anything from LEGO not educational?

My mother is actually a primary school librarian so I have often had the pleasure of reviewing Dacta catalouges & some of their purchases. Besides all the robotic & technic gear most of the stuff usually appears to be variations on the town theme & accessory packs.

Very cool set!
I just wish I had known about it before, it's always fun to have lots of skeletons, plus you could just eBay the shrouds.

I though this was a great set. Without this set there is no way I could have amassed my 250 skeleton undead army

I actually just got this set in the mail today, after reading this topic and all I did some searching and picked it up. It came with a couple extra bones in the bag, including an evil skull, I thought that quite odd since all the rest of the skulls are the old, smiley type. Anybody else ever had that happen?

Kind of strange that it only comes with the ghost shroud, i.e. doesn't include the black head and white body parts (torso, 1x2 brick+1x2 plate or legs) required to actually have a usable ghost. Kind of an odd set but kind of cool in a way too... that's a lot of skeletons and ghosts.

Wow! I gotta look up this Dacta stuff. I never have had any ghost figs; what are the shrouds made of? Rubber? ABS?

Ghost shrouds are solid plastic and may be made of ABS. This set is no longer in production.

Like Napoleon said above, it's a shame they don't sell this anymore because this is great for making an undead army! Can't really say much about the "set" other than it's awesome.
