After it's successful debut at BrickFest, it's now time for my "official" post of my project: The Cathedral of St. Anthony.

The Flickr gallery can be seen here.

Without further ado!

Here there be statues. Lots of statues. There is meaning behind the statues, too, so cookies to who can figure it all out. :)

And my personal favorite shot, done with my new camera:

At this point, not a lot of changes will happen, but if you have some constructive feedback, I'm glad to hear it. I have six months to improve this. ;)

Thanks!

It was great to see this at BF Caylin! I don't think I ever told you how cool I actually thought it was. The floor, roof, statues, and overal construciton are all very nice examples of superb MOCing, I hope I can make it to NWBC and see it again...

P.S. BTW my WP tower will be posted soon...

Both the interior and exterior are excellent. I really like the detail put into the facade. Great job!

I basically just echo everyone else. A very, very nice looking cathedral, Caylin. I really like the white leaf peices on the side. Very nice. The statues are all superb!(thanks to Emily :P ) I like the stained-glass and..well... basically everything!

Oh, yeah, good to see this a Brickfest, too... It looks even better in person, and it fit in nicely with the town.

In Christ,

Well, my first thought as I saw Brave Sir Robin was that you had named them all after that movie but I guess I was wrong ;)

That aside you have a really good MOC here. I love the stained glass windows, and the statues came out really well with the custom headgear.

Ver nice. This has certainly come along way from the WiP shots. Great design, I imagine a cathedral is not an easy thing to design or even copy. The stain glass is great, especially that shot featured in your thumbnail. I think my favorite part is the use of white folliage. The satues look great too. My only critisism would be the lack of landscaping. Well done.

Lilith the Fair maybe has to do with Lilith Fair (created by Sarah McLachlan)
Joan the Courageous - Joan of Arc??
Robin the Brave - Robin Hood??

I'm sure about the first one, so maybe one cookie haha. I like Chips Ahoy.
but the other two are guesses.

Great job, though. The Cathedral is v. aesthetically pleasing.

Indeedy, it's a very creative shot of the construction.

I quite like this shot too, again for the same reason- both from a distance look as if they're real-world settings.

Nice work. :D

Great photography work with this MOC! You took it inside and showed us how the "stained glass" Lego windows floods the darkness of the MOC with vibrant light.

Thank you all!

I haven't had a chance to respond, since I've been out of state the last couple days. I appreciate all the feedback. I worked really, really hard on this one.

Yes, it's supposed to be Joan of Arc.

Lilith has something to do with the fair, but not as much as you think. It's a biblical reference.

And Robin? Well. I suppose it can be brave Sir Robin. Or he can be in tights. ;) Whichever you prefer. :D
