This is another great masterpiece!
My favorite character is Hatchet Harry, and I love his collection. The undead's rolling mantlets are very well made. The ladder pieces over the prison windows is also a nice touch that I haven't seen before. The modularity of the whole structure plus the hinged wall that shows the portcullis winch adds some fantastic playability to this MOC. (You should have a woman working at the portcullis winch...then you could call her the "Winch Wench"!)
Overall I think that you've done almost as much work with the photography and webpage as you've done with the MOC. Everything looks very presentable.
Keep up the good work!

Very nice. There seem to be a lot of castles emerging in this austere but detailed style lately. The story compliments this one nicely. Good work!

First off, I'd like to say excellent photography! Very clean, well shot pictures. They're very pleasing to the eye.
The castle itself is nice. I like how you used slopes on the gatehouse to give it some detail. It creates those vertical lines that help to lessen the big gray wall syndrome. The siege scene looks great too and I like those shield carts you made for the attackers.
Great work!

Re: LCC Entry - King's Castle
With regards to the color scheme... there is something rather Gondor-ish about the MOC... Good job!lolas wrote:Hello,

This is really cool. I love it because its such a cute castle, jam packed with detail. You did a great job on making the siege, and you can be credited for the landscaping. Well Done.
