Harry the Bridge-Keeper

Post by Traveler »

I recently got to visit my parent's house for a week, and for me that meant being near my LEGO collection again. Here's a small MOC I made with some of that time.

Hopefully the forestmen's feast MOC will come soon, but I need quite a few more parts before I can make it like I want to. I basically need several 6079s, and don't have the cash currently. Please comment, critique, and enjoy!

This is great creation. I really like whole thing. This is the sort of model that I wish that Lego would have produced.

Some of the notable things on this MOC are the:
1 tree with the Forestman in it.
2 The cobbled road
3 The cart design with the open barrel
4 The awesome wooden bridge

Ahhh…being near Lego can be so soothing – and from the looks of things, very productive.

I like it a lot! Each area is well detailed but not overdone. I especially appreciate the forestman in the barrel, though he's going to be in for one big surprise when it turns out that the wagon is too wide for that bridge ;)

Oh, and I always envy any MOC with a pitchfork, grrr... :)

Looks nice, though I can't wait to see the cart try and go over the bridge...

God Bless and thanks for sharing,

Woah, cool. I like the details, and the non white and black tudor is nice! Good job, but how come you don't have your Lego with you? Small dorm or something? Great stuff.
...and that's how Equestria was made!

This is great, and actually, surprisingly similar to something i've got on the go at the moment. ;)

I like the construction of the house, and along with the composition in general it's really simple and inviting. I understand your lack of bricks too, but next time i'd raise the land if at all possible- currently the river is level with the grass, and it kind of ruins the idea.

Regardless though, love the simplicity and the use of tan. Nice one. :)

Yeah, I know. I wish I had more of those big 12 x 24 green bricks, that would make it a lot easier! I also wish I had enough blue slopes for a blue roof on the house, I think it might look better.

Nice job here. It's a great example of a small snipit of castle life. I also like the non-white/black tudor.

My favorite part is the forestman hiding in the barrel!

Nice MOC :) I like the quaint shape of the house & how you have done the tudor details in brown rather than black - this really helps seperate it more from the roof. The landscaping is a little square, & it doesn't look like the house open to reveal an interrior but I imagine (from your post) that you were pressed for time & short of elements. I like the tree & minifig action too well done :)

*Cuts & pastes into MOC pages review ;)

Wow this is pretty awesome. I like the intreket design, and I also love the bridge, and the landscaping details.

Very nice! The third pictures reminds of the "You Shall Not Pass" scene from LOTR. Great job!
