What a pathetic first post! Why bother with such miniscule hovels to jamb up the server! This is suposed to be a castle, yeah right, it looks like a.. wait, oh how embarrassing. I was looking at one of my MOCs.

Welcome to Classic Castle! I hope you can stand a little (lot) of all-in-good-fun sarcasm. I'll full of it, in more ways than one. What a great first MOC. I thought it was a Takeshi Itou creation at first. (Bruce--did I get the first name right?) Ook, you can search for that outstanding Japanese builder's creations and see the resemblance. The photography is great as well. I don't know how to put in the icon and "Castle Ook 2007" that you have done here, but it creates a polished finish to any MOC. I think I like the way the wall is broken up and interesting. Nice use of "life" as well, figs and landscaping.

There is nothing, I repeat, nothing, wrong with this. Nothing to be fixed. Nothing to be changed. It is, quite literally, perfect. Even the timmy head looks fine. I bow to you. Why? Because this MOC is made entirely of win.
To echo LORD DOOM's DARKspawn idolization, I must build a Lego shrine of you.
Perfection in itself, pure and unadulterated.

This is a great MOC, I especially like the stairs at the front gate. There are a lot of clever detailed scenes in it, such as the surf dumping the bucket.

OMG HOW DARE YOU!

Wow great to be compared to such a well respected builder! I had a blast digging through his work. I think he must have the cleanest LEGO collection EVER! The logo thing at the top was inspired by another builder I saw last year some time whose name I don't recall but I thought it was a nice touch. It was added using photoshop. Unfortunately the fancy logo can't add up to his spectacular work...

Holy Flagging Christmas! I'm not sure what to say to this other than I'm glad you enjoyed it so much!

Really thank you to everyone for all the kind words. Makes me want to dive right into a new project. You have a great community here.

Oh, one more thing you guys might have fun with... I'm a big sucker for the LEGO skeleton. (and I'm very glad they decided to upgrade the new ones with poseable arms) I think it should be possible to deduce the location of the skeleton hidden in this MOC. It's actually visible (barely) in one of the photos.

Happy hunting. :)

Hmmm... I'm afraid I can't find it!
(and I'm very glad they decided to upgrade the new ones with poseable arms)
I sadly have to disagree with you here. The originals were more posable, if you mean the fact that you couldn't get them to hold in place, it just needs a slight squish on the socket.
Man that is cool...

I think the new skeleyons are far superior. The floppitty arms stink. Now we acan have skellies actually hold weapons! My only dislike is that the arms seem too long, but I'll have to get one in hand first.

I think I found this one Ook22, you're PM'ed.

But that's my point- if you just squish the arm end a bit(I first discovered this when I was a wee lad and liked biting things :D), it will hold fine. And yeah, the arms are definitely too long, just hold the original (bent, I should add) battle droid arms to the old skellies. Blech!

And I still can't find the skellie!
:P

Great looking castle! It's very unique in it's architecture. Looks like it was carved out of a large rock than something that was built stone by stone.

There were a few other people having the same problem yesterday. It looked like it got fixed sometime last night.

As for your MOC, I love it! I really like the splash of water coming out of the bucket. The use of 3 primary colors of flags is also a nice touch.

Very impressive. I like the shape of the castle, the way you have it made makes it look like it gets bigger at the top. Under normal circumstances I would say I don't like this but it looks very good on your castle. Keep up the good work.

I have to agree, after getting my hands on the new skeletons I was disappointed how long the arms were. Good for zombie poses I guess!

Heh nope, the skeleton is not hidden behind the bookshelf in the tower...

Thanks for the tip! I will be squishing up my current skeletons instead!

First, Welcome to Classic-Castle! Second, that is a really nice keep. I love the way you broke up the walls into columns.

Just be c'reful you don't squish it too much, bending it back out might not be good then. Just a little smoosh.

Darnit, where is that skellie!
You're too good. :P
