OMG HOW DARE YOU!The Blue Knight wrote:What a pathetic first post! Why bother with such miniscule hovels to jamb up the server! This is suposed to be a castle, yeah right, it looks like a.. wait, oh how embarrassing. I was looking at one of my MOCs.
Welcome to Classic Castle! I hope you can stand a little (lot) of all-in-good-fun sarcasm. I'll full of it, in more ways than one. What a great first MOC. I thought it was a Takeshi Itou creation at first. (Bruce--did I get the first name right?) Ook, you can search for that outstanding Japanese builder's creations and see the resemblance. The photography is great as well. I don't know how to put in the icon and "Castle Ook 2007" that you have done here, but it creates a polished finish to any MOC. I think I like the way the wall is broken up and interesting. Nice use of "life" as well, figs and landscaping.

Holy Flagging Christmas! I'm not sure what to say to this other than I'm glad you enjoyed it so much! There is nothing, I repeat, nothing, wrong with this. Nothing to be fixed. Nothing to be changed. It is, quite literally, perfect. Even the timmy head looks fine. I bow to you. Why? Because this MOC is made entirely of win.
To echo LORD DOOM's DARKspawn idolization, I must build a Lego shrine of you.
Perfection in itself, pure and unadulterated.
I sadly have to disagree with you here. The originals were more posable, if you mean the fact that you couldn't get them to hold in place, it just needs a slight squish on the socket.(and I'm very glad they decided to upgrade the new ones with poseable arms)
I think the new skeleyons are far superior. The floppitty arms stink. Now we acan have skellies actually hold weapons! My only dislike is that the arms seem too long, but I'll have to get one in hand first.Shadowviking wrote:I sadly have to disagree with you here. Man that is cool...
There were a few other people having the same problem yesterday. It looked like it got fixed sometime last night.ook22 wrote:As for Brickshelf whenever I choose to upload an image, the site thinks for a moment, says it's generating a thumbnail for a split second, and then nothing appears in the folder. Strange...
I have to agree, after getting my hands on the new skeletons I was disappointed how long the arms were. Good for zombie poses I guess!Shadowviking wrote:But that's my point- if you just squish the arm end a bit(I first discovered this when I was a wee lad and liked biting things ), it will hold fine. And yeah, the arms are definitely too long, just hold the original (bent, I should add) battle droid arms to the old skellies. Blech!
And I still can't find the skellie!
Heh nope, the skeleton is not hidden behind the bookshelf in the tower...The Blue Knight wrote:I think the new skeleyons are far superior. The floppitty arms stink. I think I found this one Ook22, you're PM'ed.
Thanks for the tip! I will be squishing up my current skeletons instead!Shadowviking wrote:But that's my point- if you just squish the arm end a bit(I first discovered this when I was a wee lad and liked biting things ), it will hold fine. Just be c'reful you don't squish it too much, bending it back out might not be good then. Just a little smoosh.ook22 wrote:Thanks for the tip!
