The rocks make me think it's made by Steve DeCramer. I'm probably wrong though.

That was a cool castle. I got a couple pictures of it too. It had a lot of detail in it, which is the reason I liked it.

Yes, this is Steve's creation. The castle has many nice details and uses odd parts (like the octopus) in great new ways. His round tower uses the 1x3 brick and 1x1 round brick technique but with 1x4 tiles (attached to headlight bricks). This covers the unsightly 1x1 round bricks and looks very nice.Vidgamer838 wrote:The rocks make me think it's made by Steve DeCramer. I'm probably wrong though.

Well, I was the first person on this site to mention this:

But I don't mind.
This castle is sooo cool. The sculpting of the rocks and the brick-and-mortar styling of the walls is just... amazing. Not just the size is impressive, but the detailing as well; for instance the balcony/porch, the upper parts of the towers, and the use of octopi as window bars.

The black castle is amazing and all, but the thing that most grabbed me in that collection of pics was Pigs, Sheep, and Oxen... I am so excited. I have been trying to figure out how to do good minifig scale pigs for ages and now I can stop. The oxen are very cool too, but PIGGIES!!!!

Thanks.

Absolutely brilliant castle! I love the cliff detailing ... Holy grey slopes, batman! I wish I had that many. The cliffs reminded me of building sand castles at the beach and the effect you get when you let that fine, watery sand slurry run through your fingers. Very cool. The tileage works so well here, but I wish there was a bit more colour in the castle building itself. Even a little bit of grey would bring out the detail better. However, I realize that at least part of the problem is that black just doesn't photograph well. I'm sure the MOC looks stunning IRL.

Any insight as the what the large round object is in this image at the top of the tower behind the satellite dish?

Ohh I see now!!!! wow that IS all made out of Lego's. Thanks for pointing that out Shadowviking!Ummm... it is. I guess it's just that good, eh?
How is that possible if the bricks are like popping out and stuff. That can't possibly all be made of Legos! If it is I can't see how, and the person who made it is amazing at making castles! Shocked
