In response to Sava's post reminding us of the deadline for this contest in the contest's submission thread, I can only say I'm not gonna make it. I have another Lego deadline in 2 weeks, for a town display at a local lugmeet. Other than that work is taking up more time than I'd like it to, just a few more years and I can finally afford to go parttime and have more time for family and hobbies. Unfortunately that's not yet.

So basically to make a long story short, I'm not gonna make the deadline :( really too bad because this is the coolest contest theme, so I hope there's a next one!

[quote="SavaTheAggie"]Create A Theme

[*]Your theme may be purely military oriented, purely civilian, or any combination of the two.

When you say purely military oriented, purely civilian, or any combination of the two, do you mean we are allowed to make up a certain faction?
P.S. How do you put pictures in your account that show up when you post? :?

As I recall, new factions are allowed. Just make sure you remain consistent across all of the "sets".

For pictures, you need to post them to an online hosting site like BrickShelf or Flikr etc, and then link to them in your post here.

Thank you Alan, that is correct. Use the [ img] [/img] tags to imbed pictures in your post.

--Tony[/Okay, but I have another question. Which sites would you prefer us to post a link to? Since the account creation thing at Brickshelf is temporarily disabled.]

We have no preferences, as long as they aren't ad heavy or have other questionable content (like pornography). Flickr is free and perfectly acceptable, as is Photobucket, I think.
