Yes, indeed, really neat castle, but I don't like the BURPs in this MOC at all. I'd get rid of them and replace with bricks, or at least flesh them out a bit with some bricks or tiles..

The BURPS look out of place indeed, but other than that it's a great render of a worthy MOC :)

If he put something over them, they'd look okay.

Yeah, i agree, the BURPs were a quick-fix for not wanting to do any landscaping (because I'm not very good at it  ). I hope to replace them with better canyon-ish cliffs. Thanks for the feedback.

Hmm, actually I LIKE the BURPS there. I agree some more bricks on them would be nice, but In this scale they actually work a lot better than Minifig scale, I would say...and did say...

hello castlers,
thought i'd let y'all know that i did finally add some "rocks" to flesh out the BURPs in the Castillo de las Lajas castle, though as expected, i didn't do a very good job, but there's a waterfall. you can click the picture link or click in my signature to see it. :)

It is the medieval city of Byzantium, the queen of cities.I made some important monuments of the city, meant to represent the city as before the year 1204: the Hippodrome, the Valens Aqueduct and most important, the Church of Hagia Sophia.

Thank you! :o Yup its a hat ^^

Your creation looks awesome too btw!

I think its cool to see all the different pieces usage in micro scale. Everybody thinks up new ways to implement the lego pieces. And some ideas blow my mind sometimes :)

EDIT:
btw i resized my entry pictures to make them fit within the rules limit, so my folder will be public again soon.

Awesome work, these last few entries are very nice. Great to see you back too MrTS, I hope you plan to participate to the CCC again this year.

Good luck to everyone who has entered the contest, & a big thanks to Robin for hosting a great comp that gave me an excuse to try out something new :)
