I have a question about the "legend category"

The three pictures you can enter, do they have to be of the same scene? Or is it meant to tell the story in three pictures?

No, we are looking for medieval legends. You can build mocs with elves, dwarfs, and/or trolls if the are in a medieval legend. We are not looking for modern written legends set in a medieval world.
Does that mean a Le Vicomte de Bragelonne MOC is out?

Wow, now that's rather obscure! Were you going to build one? Its funny because I just began reading the series again this week. I'll bet the Admins will say its too modern. After all, it was written recently, around 1850 or so...;)

Not too obscure for someone with the screen name Athos. :D It takes place in the 1660s, which is just barely within the time frame, so I may get in...

Well, duh, that should have stood out like sore thumb. Sometimes I'm not too bright, you know. :) I've been an Alexandre Dumas fan for a long time. We are a rare breed. But I digress...Ben will be able to say for sure whether or not you can build a MOC of the Vicomte.

Hey, I am wondering if there has been a decision on this. If this has been revised into a definate answer already, this I appologize, but I could not find one. Thanks.

Aliencat wrote:That brings me to one more question Ben :)

I just finished an entry for the Fortifications category, so my question is: are we allowed to enter 3 pictures of the creation before fortification and 3 pictures of it after fortification, or 3 pictures altogether? I figure 3 pictures altogether, but just making sure.
It will should be three pictures total like all other categories. You should have atleast one before and after picture. The third picture can be during the process if you like, but that is not required.

Yes it does. Of course you could make him, the Count of Monte Cristo, and the Three Musketeers for the miscellaneous category ;)

We are still discussing this and will post an answer when we have it.

Awww. Well at least I've already got a completed entry for the Castle Legend that clearly fits within the category. Though the Man in the Iron Mask would have made an interesting interior entry too...

Now I've just got to come up with a good historical event and I'll be in the running for Master Builder, as if... :D

I finished my first entry and have the basic terrain work done for my second. At this pace, I hope to enter the running for Master Builder as well.

StoneGoblin is still working on his first build, but it's looking great so far. It's a real in-house battle of skill!

...Though we are being gentlemanly about part usage.

A curiosity: Shouldn't the Historic Event category be demarcated to a certain point in time?
The fall of Rome to the burning of London in 1666 is the time frame.
How are we defining the fall of Rome? The traditional 476 A.D.?

Yes.

The admins have decided to keep the 2 32x32 baseplates or 1 48x48 baseplate restriction for the Medieval Farm category. You do not have to build a farm with every item listed in the category (farm building, vehicle, farmers, farm tools, crops, and animals). Of course adding more of these items will likely increase your score.

Has there been a decision regarding this for the miscellaneous category.
