I will.Prince Imdol wrote:If you have a chance, PM me about this.
Thanks! Just so you know though, they have been opened. They aren't MISB, but in exceptional condition.Lord Felix wrote:Oh wow... Those prizes are amazing. I would be tempted to open it if I had any of the winners.
I think I hear a challenge here!jens wrote:Oh, I have to dig out a few bricks and show DARKSpawn how to build really MOCs
No size limits at all.Lord Tyler II wrote:Is there a Baseplate size limit?
I would love to see a Castle battle from you. The more train fans we can convert, the better. And I'm real close to agreeing with you on the multiple question thing.gambort wrote:Those prizes are simply amazing. If I can work out a tricky way to use my limited castle fig resources in a full battle I may feel compelled to enter this.
If I ever host a contest I'm going to add "Anyone who asks a rules question that has already been answered will be barred from entering the contest".
Modern weapons are out. I understand where you are coming from, but its too much of a slippery slope for this contest.Hewkiril wrote:Wow, those prizes are amazing. But I, too, have a question-
Must the content of the MoC be strictly historical, or could there be, as a visual joke, one soldier with a gun among the spearmen [as an example]?
Yes, weird fantasy creations are fine. Just make sure you completely avoid any kind of modern weaponry. No cannons, chain guns, nukes, etc.DARKspawn wrote:I have a question, can I use fantasy creations similar in craziness to the Troll Battle Wheel Castle set? Maybe something like ...oh, I dunno... a steam powered dwarf built mecha?
Bang a gong, it is on!jens wrote:Oh, I have to dig out a few bricks and show DARKSpawn how to build really MOCs
I can't wait to see what you come up with, Jens
I knew you would respond to Jens challenge! This should be fun, since Jens is a former Battles Contest champion.
No! You have to take the pieces too!plucky wrote:Ooh ooh, can I win just the boxes?
Thanks, I appreciate the comments. By the way, just so everyone knows, the donor is a very generous lady.Heir of Black Falcon wrote: Those prizes are amazing. What a fantastic gift. Very nice of you not to be the happy home of them and to give them away as well. Two very generous gentlemen.
Good!Lewa Rocks wrote:Oooooooo. Awesome! I'm going to join. Sweet prizes too!
Not yet. However, I do accept bribes. They don't usually have any effect on my judging, but I do accept them...LORD DOOM wrote:I win.
Absolutely.Lewa Rocks wrote:Sorry for the noob question (I'm new) but can we have multiple entry's?
They can be doing either, neither, or both. It is entirely up to you. It just has to be able to be called a "battle" of some sort. I'm pretty loose in my definitions. A battle can be two figs slugging it out with fists on up to 100,000 figs engaged in an epic war for control of the world. It really is up to you.leaf_of_lire wrote:Can figs be charging at each other or do they have to be whacking at their foes?
Prizes are great also .
hmm... my first contest entry...
Thanks, its my favorite too.man at ye old well wrote:Thank you for hosting this contest! I wasn't a member in /06 but this contest is probably one of my favourites
Yup, its back and I see you are too! (Just so everyone knows the score...Suvied is the only member to have won a prize in both of the previous contests)Suvied wrote:It is back! Now to the building.
Whew! I got through all the questions so far! Keep 'em coming and keep on building! We have some great entries so far...I'm loving what I'm seeing.
Later,
