My brother, who has some older ones, has no problem.
I just looked through my gear collection, and there is a big difference. The older gears have very sharp edges inside and outside, while the newer ones have much more rounded edges. This would explain why the newer gears slip, there isn't as much plastic to push against the rod. I wonder why Peeron and Bricklink didn't differentiate between the two versions, of if anyone ever really noticed?

I don't make maces
but it might be a good idea because I have alot of loose lego sticks and most of my orc use spears and I have a small fortress which needs alot of spearmen.

I'll try to post my small fortress in the MOC's as quickly as possible but my sister lost the digital camera :(

Cedric the bull: "Hahaha Leo we're here to- wtf?"
*and the bulls see some happy knights bouncing at each other with carts*
Cedric (shocked): "I guess we got the wrong KK''

I know this is an old thread, but I can't find "Sava's" mace piece on Bricklink. What is it called in the catalog?

Hey,

Image

I like the one on the left quite a lot. I assume you had to cut the harpoon pieces? I actually rather dislike the second from the right--that gear seems way too huge. Interesting solutions on the other two middle ones.

thanks for the compliment. the one on the left is actually my favorite also. and yes i did have to cut the harpoon pieces but it was well worth it i think.

the one second from the right i dont use very often but i was trying to figure out how to make different kinds of maces

and the other 2 in the middle were experiments that i liked the little one i dont use hardly at all but its a good extra weapon to have around

Wow, my old thread is back to the top.
I will show you my maces if someone can tell me how to post on bricklink.

You know you're a good person when you see megablocks and have to do things you would rather not.
